I’d say this, along with Brighton is up there as the toughest away game of the season ahead, Vs Arsenal n City you kinda know what to expect, but Bournemouth with a loud crowd will absolutely go for the throat from minute one, no fear, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried. Big performance reds!

Found the absolute perfect house, it’s so modern and well thought out inside, moving home will literally be like for like with my own home valued at same as the house we like.. BUT….has a humongous sticking point. It’s an end terrace with double yellows outside only this home and next door. WTF 😭

Agree with the game last night, once McConnell and Nyoni went off the holes in the middle of the pitch were huge. Szobo is a hitman type of player, lethal with his shooting but my god his passing paired with Gravenberch and his scart leads pulled out, you can see why we are susceptible.

The difference between Jurgens squads and the squads under Slot/Andoni for me, is with Jurgens you could run out of fingers counting players that actually “get” our club, now and last season, take away the remnants of Jurgens players and you can barely count on one hand those that genuinely get us.

Any advice on here about buying/bidding on a house AND getting a mortgage in principle ? My house is valued at £200k, if we sell say at £190k as a ballpark it will give me £100k equity. The house we want is offers over £200k AND an offers gone in on it elsewhere…. What MIP should I apply for ?

I agree with Stevie too on Wirtz, his calmness and ability to play the right ball is fantastic to see, when he sent Barcola through he actually had an easier ball to the right he could play but he saw the gap, he’s definately settled now.

Kerkez has been shocking so far, I so want the lad the succeed I really do but he is all to often on internet dial up compared to the rest of the team. I’d be tempted to take Mac off for Nyoni too, Atletico trying to get him sent off all half. Barcola couple of glimpses but not in the game yet.

Arsenal look decent again this season but also a new Chelsea side had them pinned a lot of the game. Barcola, Isak, Wirtz and Cody will sure as hell give them a lot to think about when we play them. I’m excited for this journey Andoni is building I won’t lie.

FWIW I don’t think Brughmans will be coming in next season to take over from Ali, at 19 when he arrives, I imagine he will have a season at least as understudy and may even spend a season or two on loan as he develops. Robin Risser is my choice to take over Alisson if it’s next summer he leaves.

Player for player our XI is there with the best teams in the world, bar a couple of positions. That XI if it gets hit with injuries then the drop off starts to get worrying. Thats what needed sorting this summer. We brought in class I won’t deny, but we needed 2-3 more massively. Nearlymen FC

Makes sense for Minteh to stay at Brighton, revisit he and Rayan in Jan to see how Minteh recovers from injury and also if Rayan didn’t just have a hot streak last half season. Always someone new emerges too. Much rather we have got a mid and right back in but hey ho, we never cover all angles.

Really am chuffed with the Barcola signing, watched him at Lyon and the U21 Euros the season Harvey bossed the tournament, and I was so impressed with Barcola and I think it was Manu Kone too that stood out. Glad we got him, I was so pessimistic, totally expected to be gazumped or it fall through.
