chestnuts can also go into this category of foods i dislike, but i guess it depends on preparation and variety. the small round ones, when dry roasted are fine to me… kurikinton is repulsive to me though.

Oh that makes sense. Pot restrictions suck! That sounds like HOA shenanigans. But I guess since I’m in CA, I take ‘specialty’ produce for granted. My grandma and mom used to boil it with dashi and make me eat it… and i never liked it lol
