My Mayflower great grandmother Emma - one of the US's first women librarians #Mattapan, grandmother Mary - eminent pianist -- and mother Elizabeth. We are descended from John Alden and Priscilla Mullins - though I have no evidence that they knew of it. #elegyforecho tells their remarkable stories.

I should add that the uncritical coverage of all this by the press including many in the mainstream media that celebrated Trump's illegal attack on Venezuela as a "success" deserves scrutiny & criticism of its own. As does the complicity of many in Trump's cabinet and the compliance of the Congress.
