This past weekend, Lumikha Cosplay Resale temporarily closed. Thank you to all who have supported us. As a small business owner I often struggle to reach out for help, as I take on all of the day to day operations of the marketplace and the financial burden of running a marketplace. #cosplay

In the past 4.5 years, Lumikha has rehomed hundreds of costumes, props, wigs and more.

We’ve hosted 5 in person cosplay markets, rehoming 75+ items at these pop up events alone.

Due to financial hardship, the repeated abuse of the platform (offsite transactions), attacks by scammers, and the increase in cost of maintaining the platform, Lumikha Cosplay Resale is currently down.

If you would like to support the platform moving forward, please consider supporting on Ko-fi, where we have migrated all donations and support.

I’m doing my best to keep the platform going, but it has honestly been very difficult to do so in the last year.

Working on Otaku Oasis panel videos and the sound quality is rough. Once again urging conventions to close panel rooms. When the noise outside overpowers the presenter, it's difficult for everyone to hear & engage. Place a staff member at the door to allow entry/exit with minimal noise disturbance.

Officially official: Joann has been purchased in an auction, pending final formal approval from the courts on Wednesday, to GA Joann Retail Partnership (GA Group & Joann's term lenders). GA Group, Great American, is a liquidator. All locations are expected to close by end of May.
