COSMOPOET's #starwalks continue with suggestions by those who attended the first Ghent StarWalk in June. The second one comes from Evelyne Diels: "the angel of time" holding a #sundial that can be seen on the facade of the Old Post Office building in Ghent. #MSCA ✨🚶‍♀️🤩

It is very beautiful! Truly! And no need to be jealous, in the last couple of years I missed one total lunar eclipse and two comets because of the same Belgian skies and their clouds... Today was a lucky exception!

COSMOPOET's #starwalks continue with suggestions by those who attended the first Ghent StarWalk in June. The first one comes from Grigory Vorobyev: Built in 1980, this landmark features a white terracotta relief representing "the cosmic marriage of the past and future". #MSCA ✨🚶‍♀️🤩

In her world, shall we say, birds stand for masculinity and the male principle (as opposed to horses symbolising the feminine). But then she also creates many hybrids of all sorts many of them androgynous.

This painting is wonderful; thank you for adding it to the thread @karlgalle.bsky.social ! Varro and Carrington were friends of course! I love them both but while I have seen 2 surrealism exhibits with a section on Carrington and now this solo exhibit, I have never seen a show dedicated to Varro.

I don't quite get the quotation, but it is possible Carrington read Dee. Is the orientation of Dee's egg purposeful - bottom up?
