It does really suck, you also get minor punishments for taking breaks. Like if your manager doesn’t like you they can deny your vacation, even if you put it in 6 months ahead like you’re supposed to, or they’ll make you work on your days off before and after your vacation to make up for missed time

Been watching a DDLC playthrough, and i have a thought about the Sayori scene. The fact I’ve seen it multiple times yet I tremble from anxiousness and I still find it horrifying and nauseating.. it assures me I’m still human. It’s oddly comforting, to know I’m not completely desensitized

Controversial I know, but Purugly is actually kind of adorable. Anyone who has cats knows that’s just their sleepy face, even if it does look like a death glare lol. I would do anything for Purugly the same way I’d do anything for Litten💜

I like Fruits Basket but upon rewatching it there are some real weird things, like in season 2 ep. 5 its not just the 9 year age gap it’s the fact he’s 26 hitting on a TEENAGER Shigure is weird too, anime always plays this as comedy but it’s not funny for older men to think high schoolers are hot 😭

I’m doing it in HeartGold, there’s only one method for the starters but if I remember correctly it’s actually one of the quickest shiny starters you can get because you can soft reset in front of the machine, and the shinies are visible right there, you don’t have to go into battle first or anything

001

cosmicfaye.bsky.social @cosmicfaye.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I’ve been shiny hunting (with a few tiny breaks here and there) since 6 am I’m in too far to quit now but I think this is the literal definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result except it actually CAN change, it just WONT ;-;

100

cosmicfaye.bsky.social @cosmicfaye.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Chikorita makes me the most nervous because while all of them are noticeable, Tododile gets blue spikes instead of red, Cyndaquil gets a brown stripe instead of blue, and Chikorita gets a gold leaf but it’s similar enough to the green to make me wonder each time

000

cosmicfaye.bsky.social @cosmicfaye.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Yeah I’m actually intentionally taking a bit longer than most people would, just because I’m pretty sure I saw a clip of someone doing that and I want to make sure I inspect them well enough lol

000

cosmicfaye.bsky.social @cosmicfaye.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

God I’ve been trying to hunt for one of the shiny Johto starters, I’m not at all a shiny hunter but I’ve somehow gotten the patience to hunt for about 10 hours now? I think? How do people do this regularly I feel like I’m going insane 😭
