when this pre-release version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 got leaked to the wider internet in the late 1990's, it was pretty shocking that a level would be called "Genocide City Zone". "Genocide" was a powerful word you didn't just throw around in a game about a cartoon hedgehog, it was insulting
