My pleasure! I’m a HUGE hiphop sample nerd, so I love this stuff. Also love INXS, particularly the album “Kick.” I believe Razor uses that very sample from the song during a different in-game situation - will have to check. But that’s because we have soooo many variations of Let’s Go Mets chants lol

Hey Gil! So, the sax riff itself is from a song called “Darkest Light” by Lafayette Afro Rock Band (its most famous sample was in “Rumpshaker” by Wreckz-N-Effect). Our music mastermind, DJ Razor, plays certain things situationally to subliminally irk the opposition - including that sax.

“Hey siri, please remind me to record and post my announcing Juan Soto’s first home at-bat on Friday afternoon at around 3:15pm”

Crap…forgot to post my announcement lol Well, there’s always Friday!

Colin Cosell @cosell.bsky.social · 26/01/2025

Thank you! Fortunately, when it comes to that particular subject, the jones write themselves… 😂

Also makes a great autobiography title.

So, I’ve been working on my announcing Soto’s first AB at Citi Field. Anyone want to hear it?

I mean, I’ve been saying his name for years, and with 3 syllables. Only difference is that I’ll be saying it with more gusto and excitement lol

Colin Cosell @cosell.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

I think I received more texts about the Soto signing than I got on my birthday. And I am NOT sad about it ☺️🥳 #LGM #SOTOMG

Today is by far my favorite holiday (until they make MLB Opening Day a holiday, that is). Wishing you all a wonderful, happy, healthy, and filling Thanksgiving Day! 🦃❤️🙏🏻

Yes, but…what about monocles and ascots? Surely those could fit the bill…

Colin Cosell @cosell.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

One of my favorite things to happen to social media has made its way to the muskless world, and I couldn’t be happier ☺️

I love having clients already looking to book me into April/May. It means I get to open the Mets app and look at the 2025 schedule ☺️🧡💙

To whomever just used the peak crescendo of “Les Fleurs” by Minnie Ripperton during a highlight on MNF… I applaud the hell out of you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Colin Cosell @cosell.bsky.social · 19/11/2024

CAN YOU AT LEAST SAVE ME THAT LAST ONE?!?

Colin Cosell @cosell.bsky.social · 19/11/2024

I’m here! Enjoying the blue sky and the fresh air ☺️

Colin Cosell @cosell.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

Loving the vibe here, as well as the algorithm. Also, candidly, love the fact that I can just be “Cosell” here. Now…how to get to over 7k followers like I had on the toxic playground…? Guess I’ll just have to put out some stellar content! #NoPressure 😅

Likewise! And, yes…as always…LGM!!! 🧡💙

Colin Cosell @cosell.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

Thank YOU, brother! I’ll be going on a follow-back spree soon but doing my best in the meantime. LGM!!!

Colin Cosell @cosell.bsky.social · 17/11/2024

Thanks, Paul! Very happy to be here 😊

But of course! 🫸🏻🫷🏻

Thank you! So glad to be here ☺️

Thanks brother! Great to be here ☺️

I shan’t… Bad enough I can’t unsee it 😝

Too late to change my Bluesky handle to “TysonCheeks”?

Actually, I’m thrilled if not proud to be watching this fight between Taylor and Serrano. This is an amazing moment for women’s sports 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

000

Am I watching the Tyson/Paul fight tonight? Yes. Why? Because I’m a Jets fan. I’ve been watching meaningless matchups for years.

Just rewatched that one the other day. Forgot how messed up it gets. Like… WOW!
