They went into Lebanon because Hezbollah terrorists (rightly or wrongly in whoevers view) keep firing rockets into Israel. They went into Gaza to get the hostages after Oct. 7th. Once they got the hostages they has been some sort of fragile peace.

My point was I find it ridiculous to debate something like a prescription in parliament because the decision by the intelligence service is likely informed by sensitive information. I then said that they are still sent to parliament for approval which is what happens.
