in jester mode for a friend’s clown-themed birthday hang

🗡️ Blade of Miquella, Goddess of Rot 🦋 A byzantine choker inspired by Malenia from Elden Ring #eldenring#malenia#chainmail

A gold necklace on a black display bust against a background of blurry green leaves. The centre piece of the necklace is an orange-toned red bead embedded in gold chainmail, suspended by two large gold butterfly wings that connect to the main choker chain. On either side of the wings hang draping symmetrical chains, including two dangling smaller gold butterfly wings, and from the centre-bead hangs a golden sword.

Chainmail choker and necklace made yesterday! ⛓️🗡️ Took a break from making due to hazardly heatwaves and a hand injury that landed me in A&E for a day. Happy to be back at it!

The necklace has a thick woven chain, at the centre of which there is a bright blood-red bead embedded amongst the chainmail. From this centre piece hangs a large red blood-drop shaped pendant, and multiple smaller, layered chains hang at intersections around the rest of the necklace. At each fastening hangs another large red drop-shaped bead, and between these are smaller ones. The mannequin is slightly facing to the right to show the layered chains to the side.

The same subject as previously, but this time the mannequin is facing toward the viewer, showing the symmetry of the necklace.

My first two big chainmail projects! A belt and a gorget. I finally got to wear them out for The Victors book launch. And some chainmail earrings too! ⚔️⛓️✨
