how much longer it will take is hard to say, but we're all the way through reworking the main systems & content, and have been working on small-scope new stuff (mask things)! so hopefully not much longer! because if it takes another 2 months they're feeding me to this thing

and I really mean ALL of its ideas. EP2/EP3's combat systems, how items work at all, FRAME, EP4's systems... every single fight is revisited or combined to be more memorable. I think it'll end up being a shorter (base) experience overall, but far more enjoyable.

and as a little status report - the update I've been working on since our last is the Embassy rework! a HUGE refinement of ALL its ideas. I've wanted to do this since even before EP4 began dev... it's been SO difficult, but it'll be worth it!!! (esp. the EP4 improvements...😈)

some wonderful musical and visual collaboration with this one, be sure to check out the news post for details!! and be advised there is some minor visual weirdness going on with firefox at the moment, still looking into it... some browser-level CSS glitchiness is at play

this update adds some new gifts from some friends, opening the path to some long untouched places. apologies for the delay, I was pretty burnt out after EP4 and spent a lot of time experimenting. I hope you like it!

forgive the long silence after EP4's release, there was a LOT of experimenting to inspire and place the roots of what's coming. also... new merch soon! next month maybe? we're nearly through the sampling process, and something very special is being made. it's gonna be sick.

corru.works @corru.works · 13/07/2025

anyway, E4A1 is around the corner now! it's mechanically complete, we're just adding a few more fun things and finishing art. then, we'll do that embassy rework I've been planning, followed by maybe 2 more ADDs before we get into EP5!! (too many ideas for just one more)

happy corruversary my friends! three years of corru.observer. thank you all for playing in and enjoying the world we've created! years ago, I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to share it in a meaningful way that would really connect with people... if only I knew!!

hello everyone, the marketing of corru observer is beginning after 3 long years of silence, with support from the IRS! we are beginning with mail advertisement. expect to see plain white envelopes with "important tax document enclosed" in the coming months! existing players may discard these ads

ahh, I took "nothing" literally! C.O is desktop only, for now... phone users will have something to chew on in the near future but not yet

030

corru.works @corru.works · 05/03/2025

no, it's still up! the main site is hosted through cloudflare though, maybe it's blocking you for some reason... but really, the worst they should do is just show you a challenge page if they think you're a bot! is it still not showing up for you?

130

corru.works @corru.works · 10/02/2025

yes! this is planned to happen eventually the structure and delivery system of the site makes this not just a simple "dump everything into an electron app" conversion tho... I don't want to have to end up maintaining two separate codebases, so I have to come up with a robust solution first

hello everyone!! EP4 OST, or "VOL 4", is now available on bandcamp and is slowly being spread across other platforms! it's split into two "sides" - one with my and saiiko2's music on my bandcamp, and one with NoisyRejects' music on theirs! both links here: corru.news/vol4/

similar to EP3's release, there are no memory holes or mask interactions to find yet. this is just the main experience - more to come the next update shouldn't take 6+ months to make. that was crazy and hard and I don't wanna do it again lol

this update is the most difficult one i've ever worked on, and marks the end of the 'collapse' arc. there are some very special guests here as well, take a look at the news post for more details!

this actually shows on my bandwidth view too, it's probably just a little misconfiguration on my end since the way content caching worked with neocities was different - I got my eye on it
