This photo shows the inside of a barn. It was taken from outside looking through a window opening, facing around 30 degrees clockwise.

The barn is made of wood, and is left natural on the inside, no paint, the walls are sitting on a concrete foundation. In the photo you can see half of a window in the back wall that is filling the space with light, there is a wooden floor partially covering the ground in the barn on the left side of the frame with a wood and rope barrier setup to keep visitors out of the rest of the barn to the right of the frame. To the right of the frame the ground is gravel and you can see the back quarter of a the passenger side of a classic car. The car is possibly a 1940s Packard 120, but that is just a guess. It’s navy blue, and has white walled tires. On the wall behind the car, you can see a part of a sign, painted blue with yellow text that reads “Backhouse…” the rest of the sign is obscured by the car.

A photo looking at what appears to be an old Co-op Agro building. There is a 1 story building with a flat roof in front of and attached to barn shaped building that is four stories with a green tin roof, that is in front of and attached to a 3 story building with a flat roof. The is a walkway coming from the top of the barn shaped building that goes across to the top of a group of at least 3 silos. The silos have a small 1 story building on top. The main buildings are all constructed out of brick that has been painted a cream colour and the silos are constructed with cinder blocks. This photo was taken from across a road and at an angle to the building, there are some wild flowers and grass in the foreground, and the buildings are surrounded by trees. It sure is, there was a lot of work put into that nest, by a lot of hornets. It was probably 1.5-2 feet tall! I’m glad I came across it in the winter, wouldn’t have wanted to accidentally get on the wrong side of that hive.

Often around here you’ll find nests that are exposed like this that are home to Ospreys, but this one looked much smaller than the ones I’ve seen Ospreys in.
