Anyone here attending #gls25? This will be the first year since I started attending where I can't live-sketch, but I'm hoping I can catch the recordings later! (This was the only time it was going to work for our family to schedule Ben's Make-a-Wish trip.)

I just found out that www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/ is back online!! This could be dangerous for me. I spent many many hours playing Dare Dozen and the other cute, beautiful games back in the day.

Horrifying moment this morning: I’m sitting in my chair, a blanket covering my legs, a pillow on my lap to support my journal, and a large spider crawls across the pillow. AWAY from me.

I posted these sketchnotes years ago on Twitter and they all got ported over to Bluesky recently. I abhor the harm done by Bill Hybels. I’m happy to delete these posts if they give the impression that I am honoring him in some way.

I think it was the year after this conference that the news came out about him. Has there been more recently?

Optometrist appt today. I’m at the age where I was asked if I prefer better distance vision with contacts and potential reading glasses or a lower prescription. I felt the tension of choosing between books and birds. (I chose birds.)

Did I really need to import years worth of replicated Instagram posts and Wordle results? Probably not, but it’s done 😅

Thanks @anku.bsky.social for a great tool that allowed me to import my tweets to Bluesky!

Corrie Haffly @corriespondent.bsky.social · 01/01/2025

It got interrupted a few times because my laptop has a memory leak somewhere and I’d have to restart, but I could just reset the extension to the last-imported date and start it again.

I used the Porto extension to migrate 19.1k of my 22k tweets over several days (yay vacation). After downloading my Twitter archive, I connected the extension to Bluesky and my archive files and walked away. 1/?

@anku.bsky.social my Porto import got interrupted. Will the extension duplicate already-imported tweets if I set up a new import? (Using 1.2.5)
