Conventionally Unattractive* but both applies tbh

You think it's just another tuesday. You're gonna come to a point where you'll be rooting for these characters and be reminded BY THE SAME SHOW that they're actually deplorable people, so they still get the right judgement. Unlike certain shows where they just forgot to do that.

You get to see Tony in his daily rutine of being a horrible criminal, and then worrying about where his son should go to college, and then talking to his shrink about gay people. And it's all very seamless. You tend to get desensitized by how normal/casual they potray these acts to a point where-

Disappoints you in a way that is felt intentional and purposeful, never meaningless. The casting is flawless and every character has a purpose of proving a point. How often do you get to see a show/movie that perfectly draws the very thin line between the life of a mob boss and a loving father

(Appearance wise) to Tony, he is what the general audience of television would want a protagonist to look like. Christopher Moltisanti is a character that you can't help but to root for the entirety of the show but you see him gradually failing and failing to meet your expectations and eventually-

Rewatching this in 2040 and still be blown away by how timeless it is, while knowing that its the first show to ever do it like this. All modern tv shows that u know, breaking bad, dexter, house, the wire, mad men, game of thrones all of them had a literal reference sheet and it's The Sopranos.

leaving the interpretations entirely to the audience. Even if they're one of the first to do these things, they did it successfully and timelessly. Most things in art, whenever someone tries something for the first time it usually comes out as outdated/bland later in the future. I could see myself-

David Chase, the show still has the blueprint/foundation that no other shows have ever had before, an unconventionally attractive main character whos also an anti-hero, an in depth psychological analysis within the dialogues, moral ambiguity throughout all of the characters, and a narrative goal of-

Honest genuine review: When u see the lists of TV shows that came out among the pilot of sopranos and other TV shows that came out after, you will come to realize that Sopranos was the first show that started off the golden age of Modern TV. Even if Twin Peaks was clearly a huge inspiration for-
