Right, so let's start with my favourite cars at FOTU. 1996 Fiat Bravo 1.8 HLX. The Bravo and Brava are hands down my favourite cars of that era from that class, the three door Bravo in particular and this is an early example dating from April 1996. It's also the very car I very nearly bought over a decade ago from a garage in Lanner (just outside Redruth for those in Englandceistershire 😜), but I was beaten to it and bought an MR ZR TD+ instead which was a mistake. I'm absolutely delighted that this appears to be in the hands of a enthusiast now complete with scale model on the parcel shelf. Still has its Duchy Motors sticker, and is registered on Cornish plates, despite there being no actual sales dealer for Fiat in the county at that time. There was a service agent down in Carn Bosavern in St. Just called GB Ongaro, at the time ran by much loved Giovanni Ongaro. .#fiat #fiatbravo #italiancars #fotu #festivaloftheunexceptional.
