![Topaz is the Chieftess of a tribe of Snow Leopards that inhabit the "Splintered Snowlands" dimension, and is Amber's mother. Much like her daughter, she doesn't use a Spellweapon, and instead fights using Cryomancy.
Tourmaren is a critter known as a "Snow-Beast", a species known for being abnormally strong for their stature and quite agile, but not for being good swimmers. Topaz originally rescued him after he took a nasty fall and nursed him back to health. Tourmaren does not mind being ridden for somewhat extended periods [I know he probably needs to be a bit bigger for this] and is incredibly loyal to Topaz](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:tzqmhekmtsgl4qvzblwztzrj/bafkreigkbdfyqwxyrm6we3xnsnwppoamzovnm5hgpg6jjc2yk6ukdaclyu)
