Bedrock Realms sneak peek 👀 In 26.60, we're adding a brand new "Invite Realm members" screen. Now you can just type in the name of the player you want to add and invite them with a single click! It also will show you people you've played with recently and your followers.

Java Realms sneak peek 👀 In the next Java snapshot, we're going to try giving players a render distance and sim distance slider for their Java Realms and increasing the render distance limit to 25 chunks. Here's an example of what that looks like on one of my Java Realms 😁

We've added Invite Codes to Java Realms in this week's snapshot! From the Players screen, you can access this new UI for creating invite codes. Anyone who you share the invite code with can join your Java Realm without needing to be directly invited. Great for busy Realms! 😁

The new Explorer Maps are my absolute favorite feature of this game drop 😁 It's great to have the old Bedrock player markers available in both versions of the game, and being able to find structures like Ancient Cities and Mineshafts is fantastic 🗺️

Coming in 26.40: the in-game settings for your Bedrock Realms will now be in the new Ore UI interface! No more oddly spaced JSON UI settings 😄 We're gradually getting all the screens moved over to the nice new UI system.

Coming in 26.40: The fancy new Realms Saves UI will no longer be "Under construction" 👷😀 Manually back up your Realm world while you're playing, or restore a manual or automatic save from earlier if something bad happens on your Realm.

The new Realms Saves interface in elegant Ore UI. It shows a storage space indicator, a large "Save active world" button, and UI for exploring existing saves of the Realm.

Realms sneak peek 👀 Soon in Preview you'll get to try our new user interface for Bedrock Realms - Realm Hub! It's everything from Realms settings, world slots, and Realms Stories, all in one place, easy to navigate. Both Realm Owner and Administrators can make changes 🔧

The new Realm Hub screen for Realms shows three different Minecraft worlds in three Ore UI tabs with a large thumbnail for each. A world named "Extremo" is selected and has a large, green "Edit world" button available. A different tab shows the Realms "Saves" are easily available.

Realms sneak peek 👀 Bedrock Realms will have a new "Administrator" role that the Realm Owner can grant to other trusted players, allowing them to add members, change settings, manage worlds, and other non-billing details of the Realm.

Minecraft Preview this week includes new Chunk Management features for Editor! You can now delete or regenerate specific chunks in your world. Very handy for managing long term worlds and Realms!

Coming soon to Previews/Betas 👀 Realms Saves! You'll be able to manually backup your Realm world at any point, even while playing. In case of unexpected mishaps, automatic saves will be stored every 30 minutes of gameplay.

There's a new Edit World screen for Realms in Preview! While it looks familiar, there's actually a lot of exciting stuff going on under the surface. When finished, we'll have a new packs/add-on system that will improve management and get rid of the "Unknown Pack" message😀

Small Realms improvement coming in 1.21.90: there's a new "Add Members" button that takes you directly to the screen that allows you to add members to your Realm

There's a new tabbed Realms UI in today's Java Snapshot, along with the ability to select where you'd like your Realm to be hosted: close to the first player to join, close to the owner, or in a specific region. Low pings make Minecraft more fun 😄

In 1.21.60, when you're playing on your Realm, you can now set how many players need to be in bed to skip the night using a slider in the Settings screen.

Bedrock Realms now keep settings updates made with in-game slash commands between sessions! If you change the PlayersSleepingPercentage while on a Realm, those changes will stick around even after the Realm is empty. No more downloading and re-uploading your world necessary 😄
