Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 1hAs an American of Norse descent, I'd like to point out the Vikings made it to North America 500 years before Columbus discovered there were already people here. 200
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 19hPretty good. Obviously extremely derivative from all the other pass-a-curse movies. I was ready to give it a 7 for all the fun misdirects but the lame ending dropped it to a 6.67. 000
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 21hMaybe don't bring up the same religion that promotes slavery. Not killing people should simply be our default setting. Making that choice is part of evolution. 100
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 21hGoing to watch a horror movie every night in the month of October. Some I've seen before, some I haven't. Some are strictly horror, some I play loose with the definition. Taking another chance on one I haven't seen before. SMILE 100
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 11/10/2026I know it's nitpicking, but the family fully moved in to a new house but never fixed any of the cracks in the walls, or even cleaned the grime off them? I get it, it sets a mood, but being me, I'm posting about it. 000
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 11/10/2026Ugh. I hate it when they claim it's a true story. Just make a good movie. Don't pretend it's real. 100
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 11/10/2026Going to watch a horror movie every night in the month of October. Some I've seen before, some I haven't. Some are strictly horror, some I play loose with the definition. Tonight, a sure-fire winner. THE CONJURING 100

Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 10/10/2026I've got the time so I'm pulling double duty by following up with Cinematic Titanic Presents: War Of The Insects (Genocide). 000
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 10/10/2026Probably my favorite Cinematic Titanic. Seen this one dozens of times. Love the band in the bar. 100

Some are strictly horror, some I play loose with the definition. I know I don't have the attention span for a new movie. Taking a mental break with Cinematic Titanic's The Alien Factor. 100

Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 09/10/2026OK, final post... My favorite character is Robbie, the son. He finally sacks up and destroys the clown (I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!) and then says "DRIVE AWAY!" when the oldest daughter won't get in the car! 000
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 09/10/2026Just gotta throw this out there for those who didn't know... The skeletons in the pool pit were real human skeletons. Cheaper than lifelike fake ones. 100
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 09/10/2026I'll shut up now just by saying this: For 1982, it's 9/10. Today, 7/10. 9/10 except for FX. 100
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 09/10/2026Ok... Time has ruined this movie for me. I just remembered the Family Guy parody where things come out of Meg's butt. 100
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 09/10/2026I absolutely cannot ever see James Karen without immediately flashing to his quote in "Return Of The Living Dead." "Burt? Frank. We've got a little problem here." 100
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 09/10/2026Random thoughts during the film: Nice to see the family went the (mostly) scientific route rather than call in a priest or some such nonsense. The practical FX mostly do not hold up. The face in the mirror scene is nowhere near as good as the similar scene in "The Believers," just 5 years later. 100

Some are strictly horror, some I play loose with the definition. I've been pretty disappointed in the ones I haven't seen before so tonight I'm going with a proven classic. POLTERGEIST (1982) 100
Corner DJ @cornerdj.com · 08/10/2026Yikes. I stuck with it for 45 minutes and had to bail. This movie is awful. 100
