like, losing his shoes or having to navigate an elevator shaft (or just the general "guy in the wrong place trying not to get killed while navigating high-rise") are more obvious but when the MP5 gets stuck on the gate it came across as an inversion of McClane intentionally wedging his as an anchor

John McClane's MP5 (actually a chopped and converted HK94) wedged in an elevator vents as he climbs down the shaft

With regard to he and Abrams' work crafting the trajectory of Bryan's arc throughout the film, Cregger said, "Our baseline was Marty McFly. having recently reread TDKR (shout out @blackcasebook.bsky.social, still need to go back and listen to episode 2) I can interpret the Riddler "Vengeance" goons as almost an inverted riff on the Mutants→SOBs gangsters of that story...other fun parallels at opposite ends of the Bat-career

found this because I was wondering why there was a second entry for Beetlejuice. It does have a notable amount of activity because people with "I GOTTA LOG EVERYTHING ON LB" brain use it for the musical (similar to HBO miniseries fans colonizing reviews of the 1986 movie "The Leftovers")
