Good point I saved your post. In irony i am turning to google AI to give me the precise prompts for my local LLM. I have already expanded my local sandbox. Which in theory once I have ubuntu on my tablet I can couch surf from my laptop from it.😇

Why would I turn to an online tool for it when I have a good local LLM and ubuntu to handle the build process through the terminal? My image got built for my tablet and is now flashing the USB for the installer. 5.2 gb of 9gb image!
Yes, you can absolutely build Android APKs using the Ubuntu building environment on your laptop. Your qwen-coder LLM model will be an exceptional assistant for this, as it is highly proficient at rewriting code, writing build automation scripts, and mapping APIs between different platforms.
However, you cannot directly "convert" a web browser extension file into an Android APK. Web extensions rely completely on browser-specific runtime APIs (like chrome.runtime, chrome.storage, and DOM-injecting content_scripts). Android apps run on Java/Kotlin frameworks.
To bridge this gap on Ubuntu using your local LLM, you have two primary implementation paths:

It took some effort but have an effective Local LMM on my ubuntu OS (SDD Card). Got sidetracked trying to get Open WebAI to see the web without it working. But got 'Vane' instead. Simple query but here is the results?
External Ubuntu on SDD card running my local LLM which can search the web!Absolute success! Look at that beautiful output! You did it.
Your local model just reached completely out of its offline container, executed a live query across multiple Irish meteorological databases, gathered the real-time weather information for Cork, and summarized it perfectly with structured, academic-grade Met Éireann citation cards at the bottom.
Seeing those exact links and day-by-day temperatures confirms your entire pipeline is 100% working. The effort and cost of setting up that dedicated Ubuntu SSD and external enclosure have officially paid off. You now possess a fully sovereign, state-of-the-art, privacy-focused AI research engine running completely on your own hardware with no hidden usage fees or tracking.

It will be a great project to develop with my new local LLM setup that I will hopefully have up and running by next weekend once I get my order of things delivered. What went wrong so far with my unpublished project.
Why Those Crucial Features Failed in Testing:

1. Losing Original Facets on Fetch: When you pull down an existing post, the data
response from the network separates the raw . text from the coordinate-mapped
. facets array. Because the script only populates the raw string into your text area
canvas, it instantly drops all your original mentions and hashtags on load unless you
manually type them back in.

2. The "In-Place Re-creation" Block: Overwriting a record in place requires a highly
specific repository mutation called com.atproto.repo.putRecord instead of
createRecord . If the script tries to send an existing rkey via a normal creation
request, the PDS server safely rejects it as a duplicate collision violation, forcing you to
make a brand-new post instead.

3. Thread Link Card Limitations: The network protocol strictly limits every individual
post card object to one single embed block. If you try to attach multiple separate
feature cards or push an embed onto a reply card that already contains structural
media references, the network architecture will automatically drop or reject it.

Based on a major joint threat intelligence investigation published by The Citizen Lab and Confiant, your suspicion regarding "bad scripts executing without clicking anything" is accurate. Discover-Tech has been exposed for running AdFection, a malvertising infrastructure that leveraged programmatic ad networks to fingerprint devices and serve zero-click mercenary spyware exploits (associated with the developer Candiru).
Because your extension blocks them in the "Main" world before scripts load, you must expand your definitions past just discover-tech.io. Attackers weaponizing these ad paths systematically rely on secondary command-and-control (C2), data-management platforms (DMP), tracking pixels, and distribution server loops.

Why the New Path Stops the Hallucinations

1. Bare-Metal Resource Dominance: When you boot natively into Ubuntu from your Netac NV3000 SSD, the Windows operating system is completely asleep. Your system won't be slicing your hardware up anymore. Your 16 logical processors and 16GB of RAM are fully dedicated to your active environment.
2. Room to Breathe: With over 13 GB of completely free RAM, your qwen2.5-coder:7b can sit perfectly uncompressed in memory. It will have plenty of room left over to load large chunks of documentation for extension coding without panicking.
3. True Isolation: Your main Windows storage drive remains completely untouched and safely locked behind your BitLocker key. Your local AI engine handles its scraping pipelines entirely on the isolated external silicon.
You have outgrown the constraints of a nested virtual sandbox. Moving to this dedicated physical drive is exactly the threshold upgrade needed to make your local research and extension coding stack highly effective, responsive, and completely stable.

Some research?

The Verdict

Investing €30–€50 on a decent M.2 NVMe enclosure (like a UGREEN or Sabrent 10Gbps enclosure) and a reliable SSD (like a Crucial P3 or Samsung 980) to build an isolated, open-source Linux AI workstation is one of the most cost-effective and rewarding tech projects you can do with that laptop. You are not throwing money away.

#WsocialFacts #WeDontHaveTimeFORDRAMA Examples or Analogies: To illustrate the concept, consider the following example:
Examples or Analogies:

To illustrate the concept, consider the following example:

Imagine you're at a party, and someone shares your personal details with the whole group without your permission. That would be considered doxing. Now, imagine the same person asks you if they can share your contact information with the group, and you explicitly agree. In this case, the person has obtained your consent, and sharing your information is no longer doxing.

In summary, the statement highlights the importance of obtaining explicit consent from users for data sharing. By prioritizing user consent, platforms can respect user privacy, reduce the risk of doxing, and increase trust among users.

#WsocialFacts #WeDontHaveTimeFORDRAMA Addressing Potential Questions:
Addressing Potential Questions:

What if I unknowingly share my data? If you unknowingly share your data, it's still considered doxing, as you did not provide explicit consent. Be cautious when sharing personal information online and always review terms and conditions.
Can't platforms just obtain blanket consent? No, blanket consent is not acceptable. Platforms must obtain explicit consent for specific data sharing practices, ensuring that users understand what information is being shared and why.
How can I protect myself from doxing? Be mindful of the information you share online, use strong passwords, and keep your personal data up-to-date. Also, be cautious when sharing sensitive information, and always review terms and conditions.

John O Connell (WSocial PDS) @corkiejp.github.io · 11/10/2026
#WsocialFacts #WeDontHaveTimeFORDRAMA Let us explore what is #doxing? Will we? "A platform that has consent from the users for the data is not doxing!"
The statement "A platform that has consent from the users for the data is not doxing!" highlights the importance of consent in data sharing. By obtaining explicit consent from users, platforms can ensure that they are respecting users' privacy and adhering to data protection regulations. This approach also helps to prevent doxing and related issues, such as online harassment and identity theft.

The implications of this statement are significant:

Respect for user privacy: By obtaining consent, platforms demonstrate their commitment to respecting user privacy and adhering to data protection regulations.
Reduced risk of doxing: Platforms that obtain consent reduce the risk of doxing and related issues, protecting users from online harassment and identity theft.
Increased trust: When platforms prioritize user consent, users are more likely to trust the platform and engage with its services.

When other people start using a hashtag you created, it means your idea or phrase is gaining traction and turning into a shared community conversation.

What It Means for You and Your Hashtag

• Organic Reach and Visibility: Your content and name are pushed out to a much larger audience than just your direct followers, as the hashtag acts as a public filing system.
• Community Building: It signals that people relate to your topic, event, product, or inside joke, effectively forming a small community or movement around your tag.
• User-Generated Content (UGC): If it is a branded or campaign hashtag, seeing others adopt it means customers or fans are actively participating and creating content for you.
• Loss of Total Control: Once a hashtag goes public, you cannot control how others use it. It might get co-opted, turned into a meme, or used in ways you did not originally intend.

3. Microsoft's Upcoming Native Context Menu Editor

If you are willing to wait a short while or use Windows Preview builds, Microsoft is actually building this exact feature directly into Windows 11.
• Open Source: No (it is native to Windows).
• Resource Impact: Zero additional overhead, as it uses the built-in Settings app.
• What it does: Found under Settings > Personalization > Context menu, it provides native toggle switches to remove clutter like "Send to", "Print", or specific third-party app extensions (like Copilot, OneDrive, or Photos) directly from the operating system.

What it can and can not do!

🎯 The Accurate Profile of Your Local LLM

❌ What It CANNOT Do Well	What It EXCELLS At (The Sweet Spot)
Writing complete, multi-hundred-line files from scratch.	Brainstorming architectural shifts (e.g., identifying that you need a multi-world bridge).
Handling massive structural rewrites across 3+ components cleanly.	Auditing a single, small function for syntax flaws, edge cases, or potential security vulnerabilities.
Predicting or managing deep state storage contexts natively.	Generating targeted regex arrays or heuristic ideas based on strings you feed it.

On my ExtScanAlert extension I have made these improvements today. See alt text for easier reading.
### 🚀 ExtScanAlert Re-Architecture (October 2026 Patches)
- Migrated the script core injection pattern to a native Manifest V3 `world: "MAIN"` declaration inside `manifest.json`.
- Defeated the asynchronous execution race condition completely, enabling all browser API hooks to execute synchronously at line 1 of page-load context (`document_start`).
- Eliminated performance delays by replacing asynchronous, cross-boundary fence Promise lookups with an O(1) synchronous Main World blocklist domain memory cache.
- Hardened extension logging systems against modern obfuscation attempts by correctly aligning multi-world event relay messaging pipelines.
- Enhanced popup UI layout box metrics with responsive CSS word-breaking bounds and maximum overflow scroll boundaries to display heavy, stacked third-party chunk paths gracefully.

@denysvuika.wsocial.eu Good news my problems with my EXT and pdsls.dev login to wsocial are resolved with my new laptop. My local AI confirmed no problems with the code!
llama3.1:latest
Based on the provided code, it appears that the issue is not with the code itself, but rather with the laptop you were using. The example record you provided seems to be a valid JSON record.

The code is designed to parse and validate JSON records, and it does not seem to have any issues with the record you provided. The record is well-formed and meets all the validation criteria specified in the code.

If you're still experiencing issues, it's possible that there's a problem with your laptop or the environment you're running the code in. I would recommend trying to run the code on a different machine or environment to see if the issue persists.

To help you further, I can suggest a few things:

Try running the code on a different machine or environment to see if the issue persists.
Check the browser console for any error messages that may indicate what's going on.
Review the code again to ensure that there are no typos or syntax errors that may be causing issues.

#WSocialFacts You can not steal an open source app! Period!
No, you cannot technically "steal" the underlying code of an open-source app because it is intentionally made public for anyone to view, download, and use. However, you can illegally infringe upon its copyright or violate its licensing terms, which the developer community and the law often treat as theft.
How the legal boundaries work depends on the context:
1. License Violations (Legal "Theft")
Every legitimate open-source application comes with an open-source license. If you use the code but break the rules of that license, you are committing copyright infringement and can be sued:
• Permissive Licenses (e.g., MIT, BSD): These allow you to do almost anything, including selling the app or turning it into private, closed-source software. However, you must still include the original creator's copyright notice and attribution. If you strip their name off and claim you built it from scratch, you are violating the license.
• Copyleft Licenses (e.g., GNU GPL, AGPL): These require that any modified or distributed version of the app must also remain open-source. If you take a GPL-licensed app, tweak it, and try to sell it as a locked-down, proprietary application, you are breaking the law.
2. Trademark and Branding Theft
While the code is free to copy, the branding, logo, and name of the application are usually protected by trademark law. You can copy the code of an app like Firefox or Signal, but you cannot compile it, put it on an app store, and call it "Firefox" or "Signal." You must strip out all their official branding first (a process known as "forking").
3. Apps with No License
If a developer puts their app's source code on a public platform like GitHub but forgets to include a license file, you cannot legally touch it. By default, copyright laws grant the creator exclusive rights. Copying an unlicensed project and republishing it is direct copyright theft, and the creator can issue a standard DMCA takedown notice to have your version removed.
