New publication in @jpeaceresearch.bsky.social with @realmps.bsky.social. Do ceasefires live up to the hopes placed in them to stop civilian suffering? We find they can reduce civilian targeting. This, however, mostly happens when at least one side gets military support... doi.org/10.1093/jopr...
