We had very early information about BG3 during CLB. We tended to emphasize the act 1 chars due to how locked down they were, hence a very eye-catching name like "Gut" making it in. I started the skeletons as 4/1 menace's and waited to get feedback to make them less aggro, but they stuck! #wotcstaff

If you want to play an action rpg, Odyssey. If you’re looking for core AC stealth-parkour gameplay and ac-feeling story, I’d recommend AC2. Overall I’d recommend odyssey as a good taste of the series

Cube: Something not mentioned on the website-- You can customize your own deck to specific synergies. I'm planning on building a deck with every single discard synergy. Maybe there's some Dandan-like experience with duplicates. What about a deck of only red cards? Lots to explore.

Duel: Constructed! You can build your own 15-card deck full of synergies and square off! You can even do this from your own decks for a more casual experience! Duel tends to have more pointed synergy lines and lots of removal creating a tense call-and-response gameplay with lots of impactful choices

Draft: There's two ways we recommend drafting Mood Swings, which can be found on the website. Quick Draft is a good starting point to draft MS, but @arizirulnik.bsky.social and I have loved Winston drafting. You can really do whatever you want here. We've rotisserie drafted a box before! fun!

Free-For-All: 1v1v1v1 Play is some of the most chaotic, crazy Mood Swings I've played. There's a bespoke catch-up mechanic to keep everyone in contention-- and tons of cards that are inherently stronger with more Moods in play. Where standard feels like a duel, Free-For-All feels like a Party.

Closed Team Play: If you get really keen on Mood Swings, we've developed a format where you sit across from your teammate and can't communicate. You secretly pass a card to your teammate at the beginning of the game as the only comms. There's a lot of subtly here- and it plays completely differently

Open Team Play: We got team play into a really great spot where it feels very natural. It's basically Standard play with a friend! There is a lot more opportunities for synergies between you and your teammates' hands in this format. It has the feel of Standard, with some of the huge swings of FFA

Standard Play: The normal way to play Mood Swings is 1v1 against another player, using the 45 cards as a shared deck. It's fast, fun, and interesting. I think Mood Swings feels a lot like a "puzzle duel skirmisher." I'm trying to string my cards into compelling synergies and interactions to beat you
