In my heart of hearts, TMNT is a hood story. Mikey and Big D being respectable mutants wanting to go off to college and be in the arts but can't because they're in the life. It's my first time working oil on hardboard. It's a weird experience compared to canvas because it really feels like I have to work my layers thicker than I would on canvas. Or I just didn't gesso it enough. Or added too much medium. I need to figure it out.
