@steampowered.com @valvesoftware.com will games using DLSS 5 be required to disclose AI use on the steam store?

Abolish ICE, prosecute and imprison its leaders, impeach and remove the President from office. This is the only sane reaction to a group of armed men kidnapping and gunning down our neighbors in the street.

The world is impossible to be in right now. It’s impossible to engage with what’s happening, it’s impossible to ignore it, there’s no way to relax and there’s no way to keep the poison out of your blood. You can’t protect your interior world and I don’t think anything has ever been more exhausting

Every time, EVERY TIME I go to give the bird app another shot, I am reminded in no less than 10 seconds how delusional, hateful, and brain dead the entire place is.

I'm not sure how much "algorithm tailoring" I have to do on this site, but I'm served some of the most wild shit in between pretty normal feed.

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 19/09/2025

I like that every flaw I find in BL4 is "minor". Like they don't feel like they add up to being egregious problems. Just tiny little "if I could fix this I would, but it isn't super necessary" type stuff.

I need someone to give me a lore reason that Harlowe pronounces TRAUNT differently than all of her siblings in #borderlands4 In BL3 and her character trailer, her brothers all scream it as (TR-AW-NT) SHE screams it as character flavor as (TR-OW-NT)

I don't know what to do to stop Bluesky from showing me shirtless white guys taking posing selfies. Like I get it, I posted fitness updates to keep myself accountable as I lost 165 lbs. I'm glad they're confident. Pop off king. I don't want to see it though, but "see less of this" isn't working.

It is actually insane how much more I enjoy Harlowe's gameplay over Amon's. Best decision I've made in a game in a WHILE was restarting and speedrunning back to where I was at with her instead.

I recognized Brennan's game during Calamity. What I didn't expect was a visualization of Cognouza being mass teleported away from Aeor IN THE MIDDLE OF DOWNFALL Campaign 4 is in beautiful hands.

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 15/09/2025

I AM BACK HERE and tailoring my space I genuinely cannot mentally handle the vitriol and toxicity on the bird app anymore.

000

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 15/09/2025

Guys, DON'T PANIC, but I picked up C3 again. I had paused at episode 98 (Downfall section of the campaign) BUT WE BACK. Trying to finish it before C4 starts.

If you leave Motion Blur on in a video game, I immediately don't trust you.

No more weight loss allowed. Only toning. Sitting between 180-182 on any given day as I gain muscle. Final "total" weight loss, ~165 lbs.

010

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 14/07/2025

Imma be honest, I did a massive forgoing of all social media for a good chunk of time there because a lot of the doom and gloom hit this place, and ngl that shit is DEPRESSING. Plus some old yeti was doing a 3 week subathon I was ingrained in. BUT WE HERE

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 28/05/2025

Another ~10 down. Muscle gained. 155 lbs lost since January 2023.

Rewatching Ted Lasso, the way this show tackles mental health along with combatting toxic masculinity is truly something special.

I'm trying to keep Borderlands 4 as new and fresh as possible and for some reason their promotion this time is to shove as much of the game down your throat as possible. I'm dodging bullets over here trying not to spoil the characters, mechanics, and story.

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 02/05/2025

Just a little life update! I appreciate all the past vouches & tags. Would still love them for consistent Short Form opportunities, but I gotta find something more stable and sustainable to be able to survive on my own.

"I wish Larian gave us more content for X!" "More for Y's Romance!" "This subclass!" Dog I just want to know why in 8 patches they never moved the fast travel inside the Tiefling Camp/Grove and made players walk a mile the entirety of Act 1 to do anything.

Set up an instacart order for an early morning delivery, little did I know waking up to groceries not being handled as per instructions with replacements I specifically set "Refund if unavailable" would make me start my day miserable. I've never had to give a deliverer low stars until now.

Starting Weight - 345 lbs. January 2023 Current Weight - 212.8 lbs. April 2025 Total lost - 132.2 lbs. Loose Skin abundant but a good reminder.

It's been like a year, maybe 2 that the long running $60 game price got bumped up to $70 for "Triple A". Nintendo just asked every dev in the world to hold their beer as they raised it another near 30% for *checks notes* Fucking Mario Kart.

Applying for quite a few jobs lately. I will likely continue editing for my current clientele as a side gig, but if I get any of these, it is very possible I just drop Video Editing for anyone new altogether, let alone streaming.

130

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 02/04/2025

I need to just stop playing competitive games altogether. I genuinely can't stop myself from getting infuriated at the drop of a hat.

110

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 30/03/2025

Bluesky is starting to do that obnoxious thing where I can put "Show less like this" to like 30 posts and they suddenly push 10x the amount of THOSE posts. Anti-algorithm bullshit.

It's 2025, Games not having transmog is consistently a missed opportunity. And games putting it as an unlockable feature only at END GAME?! Criminal behavior.

Nothing more demoralizing than applying for a job, having a connection at said workplace who offered (they did, I didn't ask) to vouch me up for an interview, then have 2 months go by without hearing anything from anyone.

010

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 06/03/2025

Normalize recognizing a game might just not be for you. Like you don't have to shit on the parade of everyone else who enjoys it just because it isn't for YOU. It is OKAY not to like a game because it doesn't attack your particular tastes.

040

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 05/03/2025

What does it say about me that if a game has custom protags and multiple companions but no romance options or tracts, I lean towards not playing it?

Monster Hunter Wilds first impressions/opinions (from a new MH player) THE BAD-ish (getting used to): - People claiming controller is infinitely objectively better are wrong - Auto run forced for mounts is obnoxious - Having to toggle a mode to have my character look where I'm looking is stupid

CoreyAether @coreyaether.media · 28/02/2025

Already have a gripe with Monster Hunter Wilds The amount of "FreeLC" they have just not preinstalled is insane. Like why do I have to ADD ON a high res texture pack that I have to seek out on the store page myself???

Just saw an ad on TikTok from the OFFICIAL TikTok account that: - Used AI generated awful art - Claimed "It is easier to go viral after the Ban!" - Followed by "you just have to use the 'promote' feature" - The promote feature is paid algorithm manipulation So it's easier if you pay post ban...

I'm really fortunate that I moved all my RP & D&D content to YouTube a while back. Just had to delete 832 hours worth of saved vods on Twitch.
