Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 07/10/2026If I actually formatted / created a chapbook of love poems written for @magicofservice.bsky.social , would anyone be interested in seeing it? It'd be pay what you want w/ the goal of helping us get to Chicago! 241
Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 06/10/2026The fact that I misread how to submit to a lit mag is going to haunt my days. Accidentally putting my name in the document title. Agghhhh. 130

Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Some days are very productive - today is a day in which productivity is measured by how many cookies I can eat. 020
Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Trying to wrap my head around the fact that so many fellowships and grants are for post-grad, but here I am feeling like financial stability would very much make me a *more* creative person, not less. 000
Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Every time I try and look for places to submit my work to, I get overwhelmed and end up giving up before I submit a single poem. Any advice on how to circumvent this? :') 020

Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Poetry friends, would it be worth it to try and sign up for fellowships / grants next year? I feel like as a baby poet I would likely get overlooked. 001

Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 18/09/2026The more I receive 'declined' statuses of my poetry, the more discouraged I get - I'm fine with getting a declination - it's just the money spent on 'no' gets to be a bit much. 010

Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I guess I missed the deadlines for most internships / fellowships this year :') I was so excited about getting *into* grad school, I didn't think about other opportunities until now. 020
Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I actually submitted my poetry somewhere - there's a 24 hour turn-around time for this anthology, so here's hoping! 020
Alejandro Wilson @cordovancreations.bsky.social · 16/09/2026A large part of me frets that I am too late in life to intern anywhere - that surviving through my undergrad will forever be a stain on my career even though I needed *to* survive to get here. 120
