So I was, and still am, upset with Mary Moriarity for not charging Jake Lang for his latest crime spree in Minneapolis. But it is kind of an epic troll that the reason she revealed for not pressing charges is due to his "extensive collaboration and communication with Minneapolis Police."

Three Rivers Park District runs an excellent campground, that is fully connected to the Minneapolis trail system. Do you want to go a dedicated bike-in camp site that costs $11? Beat the traffic? Avoid the crowds in cabin country? Kids love it, they might even ride part way.

I think I understand why Anders Folk signs are up in wealthy people's yards. "FOLK" is in the same font as "POLICE" on a blue background. So it is kinda the home security sign for the "back the blue no matter what they do" crowd. Who then complain about their taxes when they have to pay overtime.

I have been pretty tied to a pour-over method over the years, but trying out this 1940s Wear-Ever Drip-O-Later to reduce how much coffee I go through. Something nostalgic about how it tastes, and can make two pots worth using less grounds than one pour-over pot.

Some of my earliest memories are my dad coming home from long hours knocking on doors, volunteering for the Jesse Jackson campaign in '88. The shirt he wore, so excited, so hopefully, when it looked like we might have a chance, became what he would put on to go pull weeds in the vegetable garden.
