A new controller was 65€. I'm not detaching them any more... So far it worked nicely with bazzite but since a while it's overheating if I don't set the fan to full speed. Something broke with the fan curve.

Due to experience, I'm not surprised. I had one of the spring loaded copper pins popping out since I got my Legion Go, my device was even still under warranty, yet they decided it's a user caused issue and wanted to charge me at least 50€ for just checking and if I want a repair at least another 50€

Das #SteamDeck hat meine Art Spiele zu erleben gewandelt. Es ist halt doch viel bequemer und angehmer am Deck zu spielen als sich extra an den Schreibtisch zu setzen.

Hey chooms, We initially hoped to put Update 2.3 in your hands on June 26. However, we'll need some more time to make sure we're happy with it - we're aiming for a scope similar to Update 2.2. We'll update you further as soon as we can! We appreciate your patience!

A blue text box lights up on a glitched-out screen with digital distortion across it. The text reads, “Update 2.3”.

Speaker.bot v0.1.5 just dropped! This update is like a good tech support call: quieter, smoother, and nobody cried this time. Emotes are less chaotic, Twitch is slightly less weird, and old voices have returned. We even said goodbye to Twitch PubSub 📢 Full update deets: speaker.bot/changelogs/v0.1.5

Over the weekend I tested some VR games: Dread Effect 2 VR, Westworld Awakening, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot and Wanderer. All work, only Wanderer has a video playback issue after 1h of gameplay, making it imposible to progress. But damn the visuals and performance are incredible None

Looks like the #VR situation on #Linux is improving. There are still some games not working, mostly recently updated rhythm games (Beat Saber 1.3x, Boombox, Pistol Whip), but many other games work. E.g. with a recent Proton Experimental update 'After The Fall' works again!

And Fall Guys is now an hit install and play experience on Linux and the Steam Deck (if you still have the Steam version, or buy a key somewhere). Works also via Epic on Deck, just needs a bit more tinkering. And yes, if you have 600 showbucks, the fame pass is practially free. Fun game!

A little bit more insight to the #SteamYearInReview. Half of my playtime happened on #SteamDeck. Most Desktop playtime happened on #Linux, but currently #VR on Linux is not in a good shape, I hope it'll be fixed eventually @ValveSoftware @nvidia @unity So here I needed to switch.
