His short hair is half black, half white, he wears an oversized outfit with a black, white and teal color scheme, and ocean patterns on a half skirt. Thanks for the giveaway!!! I‘m gonna enter my most recent adopt boy Jia (design credit to Su_An on deviantart) ✨

A drawing with lineart and flat colors of a male character. He has some horse features like horse ears, a luscious tail and horse legs (although just two like a human would have). His color scheme is primarily white with light cream hair and fur. He wears a puffy jacket with a skin tight crop top and ripped shorts underneath. The accessories are kept in yellow and he is balancing a ball of sun energy on one of his fingers. Design credit to Su_An on Deviantart.

Post an old illustration you still like ✨ She’s from 2022 when I was still drawing on my phone in ibis paint x, but I still kind of like this FFXV screenshot redraw that I inserted Xion from KH into 💙

An illustration of Xion from Kingdom hearts made to replicate the look of Lunafreya from Final Fantasy 15 in the scene where she (spoilers) dies. Xion is smiling, reaching out one hand towards the viewer, carrying a pink and yellow seashell. The cords from her organization robes and her hair are flowing and she’s surrounded by a blue/teal background as she seems to be sinking ever deeper. On the bottom of the image there’s white subtitles reading “Farewell, dear Roxas.”

HUMAN ARTISTS!!! Share the last pieces of art you made! I‘ve hardly done any finished pieces this year 🙈

A drawing of a colorful galaxy background. In the foreground there’s a planet in the colors of the trans flag with a white ring. The planet is surrounded by white lettering that reads “you deserve to take up space”.

Full body Art of an anime girl drawn in the style of the Love Live anime. She has short, curly, dark green hair and is wearing an idol costume that consists of the colors white, light blue, light green and yellow. She’s daintily picking up her skirt with both hands and has one leg up in the air while slightly leaning forward.

His other hand is on his hips and his pants are unzipped so his underwear is showing a bit. Aaaaaaaaaaaand another happy birthday post to Jayce with this screenshot redraw that I’m actually pretty damn proud of! 🥰 #jayce #arcane

A sketch on a grey background. A screenshot redraw from season one of arcane, specifically of the scene where Jayce and Silco negotiate. The specific screenshot - showing only Jayce - is shown in the upper left corner. He is facing left with his head turned towards the viewer. He wears a serious expression and his councillor suit.

Happy birthday Jayce ✨💕 I’m so sorry I fucked up his face here but I think the body is passable at least 🙈 #jayce #arcane

A sketch on a grey background. Jayce from Arcane in his season 2 bearded look is kneeling on the ground, legs slightly spread apart. He‘s only wearing underwear and is holding a heart-shaped box with a bow between his legs. He is smiling and there is a lipstick mark on his neck.

I hope this doesn’t come off as rude, but this seems like a prime “Holy shit two cakes!” situation 😅 your art style is amazing and I for one am really excited to see your fanart for this movie!!!

Two panel comic with stick figures. The top one is labeled „the artist“, the stick figure places a cake next to a bigger, more decorated one with a speech bubble „aw man, that cake is way better than mine“
The bottom panel is labeled „the audience“ and shows a stick figure grinning with fork and knife in hand before both cakes saying „Holy shit! Two cakes!“

I relate hard to having doubts about the quality of your art and worrying about progression, but the mottos I try to keep in mind are to trust the process, that practice makes improvement and that practice doesn‘t have to be perfect ✨ you‘ve got this!! Here‘s some of my art comparisons, 2022 vs 2024

A collage of two anime style drawings next to each other. On the left is Inosuke from Demon Slayers, in front of a green back drop with one hand on his hip and one hand raised pointing the thumb at himself. On the right is Sett from League of Legends/Heartsteel. He‘s in front of a yellow-red gradient background with sparks and a white frame, and is pulling his shirt up to reveal his abs and chest. His pants are zipped open and the underwear is visible. Both are thigh up shots. Inosuke was drawn in 2020 and Sett in 2024.

A collage of two anime style drawings next to each other. On the left is a blonde girl (OC Cora by kotohiime on insta) in front of a light blue background sitting on pastel clouds. Her long hair is blowing in the wind and she‘s wearing a light blue and gold outfit/short dress. One leg is propped up on the cloud. On the right is a purple-haired elf (OC Lumi by lumitiem on insta) in front of a blue/purple water surface background. She‘s laying down, long hair splayed out around her and wearing a black dress with purple and gold accents. She has one leg propped up and has one hand raised to her mouth to signify a yawn. Two strands of hair are held up by glowing, floating maravian stars. In the top left corner of each half there is a year written, showing that the left image was drawn in 2020 while the right one was drawn in 2024. Both were DTIYS entries.

A collage of two anime style drawings next to each other. Both sides show the character Lio from Promare, just in different outfits. The Left is a full body drawing with Lio in a long Green Versace dress. The dress has a long pleated skirt with a slit on the right side and the top of the dress is decorated with a black harness. Lio has one arm propped up on his hip and is in front of a lavender background with pink and teal triangle accents. On the right side is a thigh-up shot of Lio, recreating a teaser image of Hyeju from Loossemble‘s TTYL comeback. He‘s wearing a black, cropped tube top with spaghetti straps and black faux leather pants. Teal and pink lighting is reflecting in the shine of the pants. He‘s in front of a grey background with one hand on his hip and one hands up to his lips. The left image was drawn in 2020 and the right one in 2024

Happy birthday and thank you for the art share!! 🌈 My goal for this year is to improve how I draw faces and to move away from unhealthy perfectionism ✨

An anime style full color drawing of Sucrose from Genshin impact in the clothes of Pela from Honkai star rail. She is looking towards the viewer while leaning on a dark brick wall, in the background there’s a grassy field with flowers. She’s holding a purple book and some Windwheel Asters to her chest, while waving with her left arm.

An anime style full color drawing of @/lumitiem’s sona (created for her DTIYS on Instagram). A purple-haired elf girl lays on a blue-purple watery background. Her hair is long and two strands are held up into the air by glowing maravian stars. Her outfit is a black dress with purple and golden cloud and star detailing. She has one leg propped up as she’s laying down and her left arm is moved to almost cover a yawn. The lighting is very shiny and sparkling.

A semi-realistic drawing of Lio Fotia from Promare. He is replicating a pose of Hyeju from Loossemble’s teasers for their TTYL comeback. He’s wearing a black crop top with thin straps and shiny faux-leather pants. Reflected in the black material is teal and pink lighting. On the top and bottom there is text replicating the typical kpop teaser informations (mini album number, comeback date etc) but with Promare references baked in. The background is grey.

An anime-style drawing of Oikawa from Haikyuu doing a ballet dancer pose inside of a snow globe. He is balancing on one foot while having his other leg held 90 degrees to his waist with the toe tip pointed towards the standing leg. His right arm is reaching up, the entire body is curved to the right. He stands inside of a clear snow globe in front of a dark background.

I like to remind myself of the gap between our perception skills and art skills. If you think you‘re getting worse, maybe it‘s just your perception skills that have gotten better

A graph titled „improvement in painting“. One line is „ability to see“, one line is „actual technical skill“ and another line is „perceived technical skill. Green bubbles show „periods of frustration“ where the „ability to see“ line is higher than the other lines

Work in progress of a drawing of @/lumitiem‘s sona Lumi lying on a background of shimmering water and yawning. The art only has flat colors yet, and no shading.

Finished art of @/lumitiem‘s sona Lumi. A character in an anime style with very long lavender hair, elf ears and a black dress with gold stars and purple cloud detailing lays on a background of shimmering blue/purple water. Two star lanterns are holding single strands on each side of Lumi‘s face up. One of her legs is propped up and a hand is raised to her face to show that she’s yawning. Fanart is so fun!!! There’s so many fandoms I still wanna do fanart for but for not I think this is a selection of my best ^^ (suggestive warning for the last one 🙈)

Art of Oikawa from Haikyuu in an anime style. He is doing a ballet dancer‘s pose with one arm up and one leg angled up at his hip and wearing teal and blue training clothes. He‘s inside a snow globe on a dark background.

Art of Sucrose from Genshin Impact in an anime style. She is wearing the clothes of Pela from Honkai Star Rail, clutching a purple book and some windwheel asters to her chest. She has one hand raised in a wave and is leaning against a brick wall in front of a grass field background.

Art of Lio from Promare in an anime/semi-realistic style. He is striking the same pose and is wearing the same outfit as Hyeju from the first teasers of Loossemble‘s TTYL comeback (a black halter top and black faux-leather pants, one of his hands is raised a finger at his mouth, the other hand is on his hip). The background is grey, there is text on the top and bottom imitating the look of a kpop album teaser image.

Art of Sett from League of Legends in an anime/semi-realistic style. He’s in his Heartsteel skin look, without his hat or jacket, raising up his tank top with one arm to explode his abs and chest. His pants are unzipped and he‘s in front of a yellow to red to black ombré background with fiery sparks.
