My first ever Spyro games 💜💛 all the memories I have with these games are precious to me. My first memory is with the first game I got: I got The Eternal Night for Christmas and I fell in love with Cynder instantly. 🖤❤️🤍 (I also remember getting stuck at the Blundertails and got super mad rofl)

This is Edward. He was given 6 months to live after being found as a stray. His family was determined to give him the best few months possible, so they introduced him to the ice cream truck. That was 27 months ago. 14/10 #SeniorPupSaturday (IG: magnificent_foster_dogs)

I don’t have any solid estimate or ideas on how long an imperial wolf gestates for, but based on their size and level of sentience I’d have to guess they need *at least* 5 months to develop. Reminder that my wolves can talk, and are as big as an African elephant.

CopyTheChimera @copythechimera.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

My favorite points: 1. A dog embryo is not considered a fetus until after day 35, when all the digits on each of the 4 limbs is fully developed and the features clearly resemble that of a dog. 2. Dogs gestate for 60-65 days (2 months); embryo-fetus transition happens shortly after the first month.

CopyTheChimera @copythechimera.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

It’s amazing to see just how fast a dog embryo develops based on this table and illustration in the textbook I’m studying.

CopyTheChimera @copythechimera.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

❗️It’s important to keep in mind that the notes I’m showing off here are not imperial wolf. ❗️ These are notes taken from “Miller and Evans’ Anatomy of the Dog (5th Edition)” textbook.

CopyTheChimera @copythechimera.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

The imperial wolves probably won’t have much in-universe studies about how their puppies develop, much less recordings of their specific millimeter developments of their embryos or fetuses, but any knowledge I personally develop and establish about them will still be canon.

I know about hyenas. I know about dire wolves. I know about werewolves. I know about sabertooth cats, the extinct dire wolf, andrewsarchus and other megafauna. Imperial wolves are none of those things. They may be inspired by some of those animals, but they’ll be worse. For better or worse lol

000

CopyTheChimera @copythechimera.bsky.social · 08/05/2026

I’ve realized that what I’m trying to do with my imperial wolves will really be an exaggeration of a canine. They are meant to be more strength oriented than stamina, so as a result, my wolves will be a wolfaboo’s iteration of ”what if a big cat was a *bigger* dog”

Behold the muscle I am most afraid of in dogs. Working as a delivery driver for about 3 years, I’ve been bitten by a couple of dogs now with a handful of close calls. People know how dangerous a dog bite can be…but most don’t know the in-depth, real danger of why it’s so dangerous.

I was thinking of renaming Copy’s default form from “chimera” to “gargoyle”, but I like both names so I might just refer to the aerial version as “gargoyle” and the terrestrial version as “chimera” to make it easier for my peanut brain to remember.

CopyTheChimera @copythechimera.bsky.social · 08/03/2026

Lately I’ve been really into the idea of making Copy’s legs scaly. Problem is, I can never decide if I want all four of her legs that way, or only two (front or back) But these are also the benefits of having a shapeshifter 😆 “why not all of the above” methinks

I’ve decided to make my imperial wolves be a little more feline-like. They are still mainly canid-form ‘cuz I’m pretty much a wolfaboo, but considering the ecology I want for the species, I think it’d be an interesting mix to incorporate some snow leopard into these giant wolves of mine.
