Good Morning! Like many, many of us,who are in mourning, for what is happening to our country I try to stay informed and do what I can.

It's really cold here so I am grateful for our two furry Eskies to add another layer of heat during the night! My husband grumbles about the lack of room! 🤣

Scotty was a dumped kitten, that no one wanted, to our sweet boy who is fitting in well with the rest of our gang. Their loss as he is the sweetest boy. His three siblings, living in my greenhouse, will be spayed or neutered as we work on their trust. Working hard to find homes for the last three.

The light through our tall trees as we take our morning walk with the dogs. It never gets old.

Women don't take your freedoms for granted. My daughters and I have executed our freedoms in voting, having bank accounts and purchasing homes etc. Past time to be aware. All my jewelry is hand forged and not machine made. Etsy.com/shop/nellieblybydesign

The universe has given me two half wild kittens to focus on instead of my anger. Dumped on our property here they are in my greenhouse and I am trying to figure out how to help them. My two dogs do not approve but I will feed them and talk to them as the world outside my sphere slowly goes to hell.

Spirals are magical. One of my favorite things to create and bring about a type of meditation as I shape the copper.

My greenhouse after another unexpected cold this Winter. It gives me hope to see all the new growth and blooms. I can do hard things too!

Our little greenhouse in the Spring! Made it through the coldest weather. We worked hard to get extra protection up and it worked. Extra praise to the best husband in the world who checked it at night and continues to care for the greenhouse while I wait for a knee replacement.

Why am I suddenly seeing BlueSky posts on my Facebook page? I don't mind but what did I miss?

In the middle of this craziness I strive to be aware and fight back in my own way. But to retain my sanity my hands must hold, cut, twist and heat metal. Giving up is giving in! nellieblybydesign.etsy.com/listing/9768...

Our two dogs came running to me while work on a clogged drain got unpredictably loud. This is how I've felt for over two weeks...hiding under a chair or huddled nearby on the carpet waiting nervously for the dam to break.

We look within and ask ourselves can we do this? Can we be this brave?

Brought this little one in from the greenhouse. We have a small greenhouse that we have winterized and keep doing more every time we go out. But it is going to be unusually cold tonight (1°) and she already looks unhappy. My daughter gave me a start and it's special.

We missed out on having a good leader in VP Kamala Harris. This is a day of great mourning. Thank you Dr. King.

I am convinced that women would do a better job of governing this country. There are strong women in my family including daughters, grandchildren, my sister and nieces. We just want more love, acceptance and respect in this country. Too many people voted against love. The men have had their chance.

I have a little greenhouse built by my son and husband using recycled windows. I feel that I need to take snacks, drinks and my dogs out there on Monday and stay all day. Maybe I could meditate or start my book of poetry. Or just roll up in a ball underneath one of the Elephant Ears?
