Just returned from a run working on my Spanish with a 1 hour conversation with an LLM. I do this daily. LLMs are useless because Dave says so? The paper industry uses 5x the energy (and 7x the water) as all data centers combined. Why are data centers different than other factories or warehouses?

Sometimes I think we forget that Amazon was THE face of the dot com bubble and bubble-burst. If I had put in $1000 in Amazon stock at the time, it would be worth nearly a million dollars today. Which is to say that if an equity is in a bubble, it may (or may not) still have significant value.
