Running Friendzone on iOS 26 without any changes could be worse… A couple of obvious paper cuts and lots to learn and think about to integrate it better (bye custom Tab bar), but it's a better start than I expected. #buildInPublic

Jan Früchtl @coolcut.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

Friendzone lets you add a birthday or any recurring event, like an anniversary, to a friend's profile. For example, I use the recurring event on a friend's profile to add their children's birthdays to keep track of them, but I don't have many profiles of the kids on Friendzone. #BuildInPublic

As Friendzone becomes your second brain for friendships, it also offers quick ways to start interacting with friends through direct links to popular messaging apps like iMessage, WhatsApp, and Signal. Just one tap (or swipe) away! It's something small but natural as you use it. #BuildInPublic

Jan Früchtl @coolcut.bsky.social · 27/03/2025

Capturing a note about a past conversation or anything else you don't want to forget is a key ingredient of Friendzone to help you never forget important details again. You can start capturing a note from anywhere and enrich notes with additional metadata. #BuildInPublic
