"You needn't remind me of the fear you harbour when I can remind you of the doors you threatened and attempted to break last time something like this happened." Ari gets a 15 minute break after In From the Cold and is promptly babied by her Dad. 🌺💊 #ffxiv | #endwalker | #gpose | #SurvivorsSong

ough hate finding a new artist who's style I'd love art of but their cheapest listing is twofold over my budget

Echo_Cookie5228 | COMMS OPEN ✨ @cookie5228.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

god I could have put Void's first rival in this line up had I thought of a name prior to posting, but it's whatever, feels more right to draw her with Count given their story

000

Echo_Cookie5228 | COMMS OPEN ✨ @cookie5228.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

finally got some designs down...and I already have favourites I put them in Void's old academy uniform (winter) because I cba to draw Tracen's but I imagine they all went there (though I'm not sure how who if any were on her team) #umamusumeoc

Echo_Cookie5228 | COMMS OPEN ✨ @cookie5228.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

special mention to 'Hit of Bagpipe' which while I have crazy ideas for a design I'm probably not gonna use because I need more...normal sounding names

000

Echo_Cookie5228 | COMMS OPEN ✨ @cookie5228.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

using a generator for racehorse names because I'm itching to make more uma ocs and so far the ones that have stuck with me are 'Homunculus Engine' 'Queer Fuel' and 'Fish Authentic' so uhh as funny as this is can i get cool sounding ones instead please thanks (gonna use these three tho I love them)

very silly thought but what if I made a trivia quiz about Ari and TSS just kinda wanna know how many people know about the creature

#SurvivorsSong late night sketch but finally a more realistic depiction of Ari just because canonically she's probably more stinky than Estinien (even if that's a fandom joke)

god I'm so frustrated with myself I'm so severely artblocked with personal work that I'd kill for commissions right now but I can't ask the one person I owe my life to because I've burnt out doing comms for him and him alone

#SurvivorsSong while I currently can't pinpoint her birthdays during the MSQ, age-wise Ari's 19 at the start of ARR and 21 at the end, and by start of DT she's 25 by body yet 24 by date (thanks ShB) for context each expac averages a year bar ARR with 2, and ShB is its own can of worms iykyk

about a decade, long before becoming an adventurer, she feels more comfortable with than without, and it's part of her brand at this point. She has worn the same pair of black elbow length fingerless gloves for about 5 years across 4 different outfits (2.x to 7.0+), though style varies with-

#SurvivorsSong Ari is infamous for wearing gloves, fingerless more often than not, as they cover the truth that her existence denies what people unanimous agreed about with a specific event in history. I love seeing twt/@necromosss pop up on my TL because her art is so tasty and the ship is so sweet yet I'm sat here giggling to myself because for 75% of TSS canon Ari fucking hates Urianger so much and seeing the drastic difference between Ari and Yrsa is so funny to me for some reason

love how I've only now just realised that I'm always drawing Ari looking her best when 98% of the time her hair is more blood sweat and tears than it is actual hair, part of me wants to fix it by caking her in grime but then to me it won't look like her even if it's more canon

#SurvivorsSong ( #Endwalker spoilers ) "I get that a lot." or "Everyone really does expect the stereotypical 'male Hyran fighter' don't they?" often following unfazed shrugs. In Elpis however, she's a little playful with Hythlodaeus, exclaiming "I'm perfectly fine this size thank you very much!"-
