reading about this article exploring why autism in women and girls are often diagnosed late, and this part struck me as particularly relatable, and the funny thing is that i’m a guy

@fluxapp.blue hello! a bit of a UI issue here on ios 17 🥹 also, it would be great if there was a confirmation prompt when exiting the post composer (since everything written in it would be lost), and if i could paste images directly into the composer! i like to "copy and delete" on screenshots

image shows the card interface on anisota.net which is usually a post but instead it shows info about a Specimen, something you can apparently “catch” and collect (like pokémons?) on the gamified web app. its scientific name is Acherontia atropos, it has the subtitle “Moth” — probably a type of moth then? — and there’s also the word “Sphingidae” written on the top-right corner of the card; that’s probably the family or genus or some shit sorry i forgot all about high-school biology. there’s a button at the bottom-left corner that you can tap to Catch the Specimen but now it just says “Escaped”.
