I don't look at maps of the US often but can I just say that if I was from Wisconsin I'd have such beef with Michigan. Look at this shit. That big old nose should all be Wisconsin, but instead it's just inexplicably Michigan. Canada probably has something to say about the little top island as well.

A screenshot showing the map of Michigan and Wisconsin, with a little of Canada at the top. Michigan's borders are outlined in red. Michigan is mostly separated from Wisconsin and Canada by three big lakes, but these lakes also separate Michigan from a big chunk of land which is still connected to Wisconsin by land, but is clearly within michigan's borders. It makes up about a third of the size of Michigan. Thre is also a tiny island much closer to Canada than it is to the rest of Michigan which is outlined in Michigan's red borders.

Just opened an adorable birthday card with original art of Emile and Jackie from The Left Eye by our extremely talented sprite artist @metonumia.bsky.social ! I love our two fantastic artists at @team.hauntedtrumpet.com, couldn’t ask for a better birthday present than cute art of our OCs 😭🙏 #vndev

A home printed birthday card featuring a young man with curly hair, sitting in a big red box with a bow on it. He’s been caught in the act by a woman in a brown trench coat who is looking at him with her hands on her hips. These are two of the main characters of The Left Eye visual novel.

Felted a patch for a local pride quilt, with translated lyrics from 1920s gay liberation song “Das Lila Lied”. Working on The Left Eye reminds me that not only queerness itself, but queer also identity, community, and activism are centuries old 🌈🏳️‍⚧️🪻 #lgbtq #queerhistory #pride #felting #queer #lgbt

Is this a glow up? I’m in my notebook outlining episodes 4-6 of the left eye, and found these extremely early sketches of potential screen layout, narrative branching, and questionable probabilities for ep3’s poker game scene! #narrativedesign #interactivefiction #gamewriting #penandpaper #noai

Wrote a thing for the Neruromyths Zine, supported by the Royal Society of Literature! My entry is The Eel, a mermaid/sea monster story that’s sat in my thoughts for 10+ years. It’s close to my heart, and to my understanding of who I am. Grab a copy of the zine at cephalopodical.itch.io/neuromyths

But am I not a good monster? Don’t I speak English beautifully? Aren’t I so pleasant and calm? Don’t I tell good stories, just the same as the rest of you?

in a rare case of me doing two bsky posts in one day... I just handed off the episode 3 script of #TheLeftEye to our dev at @hauntedtrumpet.bsky.social ! Then I celebrated by posting text post memes on tumblr and I am not sorry. www.tumblr.com/hauntedtrump... #vn #visualnovel #gamewriting

A screenshot from The Left Eye visual novel, showing sprites of Jackie - a tall white woman with long dark hair, and an eyepatch, wearing a white vest - and Emile - a short man with slightly curly hair, wearing a black suit. She has her arms folded, and looking incredulous. He is smiling.

Pasted over them are the following three text posts:

plasmalogical:
self care is actually getting in fights with randoms in dark alleys.

ixq:
No self care is stuff like taking a bubble bath or putting on a lot of makeup if you like it or taking a nice warm nap and stuff like that

plasmalogical:
self care is the burning heat when rage washes over you. self care is when you feel the bones crack under your powerful fists. self care is the fear in your enemies eyes.

My favourite in-house meme at @hauntedtrumpet.bsky.social is to redraw the original #devilman manga panels with characters from The Left Eye. (Although I stand by the fact that it looks better when @sanorganes.bsky.social does it)

Hello bluesky! I never know what to say when I first join a new social media site, so here’s a cat pic, in which my void-daughter screams while my chubby-prince-son reclines:

A tortoise shell cat stands with her mouth open (mid-meow) beside a very fluffy orange cat laying on his back with his tummy out.
