Have you ever wondered how to integrate on-demand transit options into detailed assessments of access to opportunities? Check out this new analysis of Edmonton's combined bus network redesign and expansion of on-demand transit zones. authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S...
Figure 9 from https://authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S1077-291X(25)00007-4

A map of Edmonton showing the municipal boundary, on-demand zones, and accessibility change (in 10,000 jobs) based on median wait times for on-demand zones. Most of the access changes are green (30k-50k increase in access to jobs), with some areas of dark green (50k-110k increase) and yellow (0-5k decrease)

Conveyal makes it easy to edit scenarios and generate isochrones ✅ The real power of our platform is running massive access calculations regionwide (effectively millions of isochrones in parallel with our cloud compute cluster 🚀) For examples, see blog.conveyal.com, esp. medium.com/conveyal-blo...

Detailed multimodal isochrones for the Sepulveda Transit Corridor project in LA? 👀 These ones look familiar! "The varying shades of blue reflect differences between the alternatives..." 🚇 vs. 🚝 options provide notably different levels of access.
Maps showing "where you can go in 60 minutes" from selected station locations north and south of the Sepulveda pass. Each comparison shows "no project" (without rail in the Sepulveda Transit Corridor) vs. heavy rail/monorail "project alternatives" for the corridor.
