I place a high value on integrity, but is it too high? Am I wrong to be bothered by this? Political fundraising has become distasteful to me to the point of being a complete turnoff. Deceptive or manipulative messages automatically mean I won't contribute to a campaign that produces and uses them.

It's like this: A neighbor breaks through a wall into one of your bedrooms and starts shooting at you from inside. You shoot back and demand he leaves. The son-in-law of the mayor of a different city tells their local paper that your refusal to let the neighbor stay is the problem. What did I miss?

Couple of things: The numbers are so far off, there's no rational "mistake" explanation, and incoming foreign investment occurs when there's a trade deficit, they have dollars they need to spend, and U.S. assets (equity and debt, both public and private) are up for sale. Bigger isn't better here.

The purpose of a U.S. Executive Order is to direct employees of the Executive Branch to carry out their duties in specific ways. An EO is not a law and will never *BE* a law unless Congress codifies it i to law. So, why are individuals being prosecuted and sentenced under provisions of an an EO?

I could be wrong, but it looked to me like they changed colors mid-project. The final color is a dark gray rather than a bright blue (I suppose it could be called dark navy blue). The color they started with was a lighter swimming pool blue. I think it'll reflect just fine. They caved. 📷: MSNOW

I've tried a few times to come up with a way to convey how it feels to be a non-Democrat who donates to a few Democratic candidates' campaigns only to be completely inundated by many Democrats' relentless and innumerable solicitation texts and emails. This comes close. It's completely off-putting.

The wealthiest 1% of Americans have seen far greater gains in the past 25 years than the bottom 50%.
