RYE Workers United - IWW IU 610 - CURRENTLY ON STRIKE @ryeworkersunion.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

We're a union of trans workers who provide gender-affirming care to our community, and our management has been ignoring our demands for rights. We set up a GoFundMe to provide relief to our members who have been pushed to a strike. Please consider signal boosting! www.gofundme.com/f/support-re...

it really sucks that everyone (me too sometimes)dose this now, couching even something as genuine as "do i deserve life?" in a layer of ironic detachment, its a genuine abomination everyone should relearn the genuine, its a lot easier then everything else might make it seem

i think caring for oneself so your more happy and content also shines back onto the people around you aswell, what would a community be without the well being of the ones within it? personally id like to see you do well, i think thad be swell!

I think sometimes the best thing you can do is focus on yourself for a while, figuring out how to make things right just for yourself. Its easy to look at what others are doing and feel lesser for it, but really its nether necessary nor good to always be giving

controllerjar @controllerjar.bsky.social · 09/01/2026

actually, for learing to write it would actually better to use ink, i think it would lend you in developing the muscle memory you need. otherwise its like with drawing where people often fall into using chickenscratching lines instead of training that muscle memory

110

controllerjar @controllerjar.bsky.social · 09/01/2026

I dont remeber if that was reinforced in my school, but i would guess its supposed to teach you to write more intentionally, since you cant as easily erase mistakes For quick notes your propperly better off with a lead pencil, but i still really like writing and drawing with ink, so im biased

010

controllerjar @controllerjar.bsky.social · 09/01/2026

depends on the usecase, but there are many reasons you would want to use a pen over a penicl, chief reason is that inked writing or drawings are often more sharp and persistent imagine drawing a manga with pencil or signing a important document with easily erased pen, it dosent really work as well

glad you like it, if only bluesky hadn't compressed it so takes your art from crispy to crusty real quick ; v ;

the games widget thing that discord added to user profiles is hilariously terrible. If you wanna add Zelda on there they only got 3 Games to pick from and the image for a Link to the Past is from the nes bootleg
