I hope not. I don't want our Hungarian cancer to spread beyond our borders... Pope Francis was a breath of fresh air, at least for the none religious progressive types en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A9...

Divorced and remarried Catholics

During a Vatican press conference in October 2014, Erdő expressed opposition to the idea of allowing divorced and remarried Catholics to receive Holy Communion.[17]

Migrants

During the 2015 European migrant crisis, Erdő said that taking in refugees would amount to human trafficking.[18][19]

Romani people

Erdő has written about the special socio-economic conditions of the Romani people and has openly wondered on the correct way to evangelize them.[20]

Church in Hungary

Erdő has focused on Hungary's need to restore its faith and hope, while celebrating Midnight Mass at St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest, to mark the Christmas holiday.[21]

I didn't believe that was true until I went to their source...

Screenshot From Raw Story saying: ""Trump's team allegedly has offered Putin (1) Ukrainian territory, (2) no NATO membership for Ukraine, (3) no US soldiers in Ukraine, (4) the withdrawal of US soldiers from Europe, including from frontline states, and (5) sanctions relief," wrote former U.S. Ambassador to Russia and Stanford University political science professor Michael McFaul. "Putin's return offer -- nothing.""

It makes everyone's job harder. This can be seen in in my previous post about a study on X's algorithmic bias. bsky.app/profile/cont... 4/4

Text from the study: The study is primarily limited by the comprehensiveness of the data. While careful efforts have been made to collect as many posts from the timelines of the accounts as possible, there is no guarantee that 100% of posts have been collected. The scraping process used the Advanced Search tool on the web-based version of X, which scrolls backwards in time to collect the posts. We do not find any evidence of missing posts, as the plot of post counts over time for all accounts do not show any patterns of missing data. However, given the difficulty in collecting data on X after the Academic API was removed, we note that the study is limited because of the relatively small amount of data we could collect and the possibility of missing posts. Future work should analyse this at scale using more comprehensive datasets, ideally collected using the Premium API

Elon Musk's X changed it's feed algorithm to promote Republican owned accounts. So much for making X a public square. It's time for social media platforms to move away from the control and influence of billionaires. Source: eprints.qut.edu.au/253211/
