Archie, what the hell is this graphic design.
An advertisement page for the Sonic The Hedgehog and Image comics crossover. Against a black background with a pink lense flare behind it is what looks like an open comic book with only the right page visible. It shows what is presumably a scene from the crossover with Sonic cast members Knuckles, Sonic, Tails, and Sally standing together in a line ready to fight the Image characters lined up opposite them, including Shadowhawk, Savage Dragon, The Maxx, and Velocity. They are standing on non-descript, brown earth and are against a purple sky. In the sky, an Image of the superhero Particle is shown in the sky looking at this scene, gasping in shock.

In dark lettering above the comic scene is text with a downward purple to pink gradient that says, "SONIC TAKES ON THE WHOLE NEW IMAGE." In hot pink text below the comic scene with a weird text justify that follows the bottom of the comic page on the page it says, "BE THERE WHEN DONIC KNUCKLES & THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS MEET SHADOWHAWK, THE SAVAGE DRAGON AND OTHER HEROES OF IMAGE COMIC IN SONIC SUPER SPECIAL #7 ON SALE OCTOBER 1998!" The art is sign by Jim Valentino and Ken Penders. There is a Ribeiro logo next to the signatures.

Many of you.
A black and white picture of a very 80s looking white teen with shades on that fully hide his eyes, a shiny, gelled up looking hairdo with a shock of hair hanging down in front of his forehead, a popped collar on what looks like a trenchcoat, and a disaffected looking expression, his mouth pressed into a line with the shadows playing across the left side of his upper lip making it look like he's subtly sneering. In white impact text above his head it is printed, "TOTALLY AWESOME." The text below that quote attributes it to, "Dave Jackson, Expert Gamesman."

Never thought about it before seeing this figure, but I think every time TMNT has done a fifth turtle thing, the fifth turtle is a girl (as long as we're not counting Slash or Tokka.)
A boxed action figure of April O'Neil is a ninja turtle from the Archie comics. She looks about the same as the other four turtles, but she has a white mask, white elbow and knee pads, white wristbands, and a belt with a capital "A" on it. Her weapon is a giant sword wrapped in white tape that kinda looks like a buster sword.A promo image of Venus from TMNT The Next Mutation. She's slimmer than the other turtles with human-like breast cups on her yellow torso, a light blue mask with a long, braided tail, light blue shin guards, and a light blue belt with a capital "V" on the circular buckle. She's given a thumbs up with her other hand on her hip while standing in a messy warehouse. The cover of the TMNT Jennika The Fifth Turtle trade paperback. It shows Jennika crouched with her shell partially toward us but looking over her shoulderbehind her. She has a yellow mask, a black hood, black fabric wrapped around her torso, black pants, and boxing tape wrapped around her shins and arms. She weilds a pair of four pronged claws and it looks as if she's just finished clawing the crap out of the wall in front of her.

When you just gotta discourse about an art you dislike to cause problems on purpose.
A panel from Silver Surfer issue 6 depicting a humanoid figure in a red and green bodysuit with a yellow gas mask stepping off of a futuristic space transport about the size of a sedan and approaching a nearly nude, prone humanoid figure with pale skin in a rocky environment against a blue and cloudy sky. The figure in the gas mask is saying, "cringe, you lowly, brainless swine!"

This YouTooz Zoro figure got him looking like Kamui Fire Emblem Echoes.
A YouTooz figure in its cube shaped box seen through a plastic window on the box. It portrays Zoro from one piece in his attire from, I believe, the first arc, a short sleeved, green, shirt folded on the chest like a kimono and black pants. The figure has a big head shaped like an inverted tear drop. He has short green hair like usual and bushy eyebrows, but uses the brands signature eye style, having them shaped like thick, black curved lines. He's also got a dot nose and a thin, black line for a mouth. The key art of Kamui from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows Of Valentia. He's wearing a drab green outfit with wide pants, shoes that pount upward at the tips, a tan sash, and brown and green flaps of fabric that are trailing behind his torso. His outfit seems to be meant to evoke the image of a ronin. He wears a brown head band with a silver piece of metal cover most of his forehead. His hair is black and short but shaggy, a longer lock emerging over the headband. He has light, near pale, skin, a thin head, a long, hawkish nose, and shaggy eyebrows. Like the Zoro figure, his mouth is pressed into a thin line, and his eyes are so narrowed they appear as black lines with an upward curve in the middle. He's crouched with his right foot forward facing the viewer, and his muscular right arm is reaching for a sword sheathed at his side in kind of an iaido stance.

Was looking up a list of primates, and look who they got in The Philippines.
A screenshot of the list of primates wikipedia page showing the entry for the Philippine Tarsier. It shows a picture of a small, short and brown furred monkey-like animal with huge brown eyes and long digits clinging to what looks like a piece of green bamboo. Above the picture the name "Carlito" is printed.

(Carlito is the genus name for the animal, named for the conservationist Carlito Pizarras. )

Cool spider I got to see whole playing board games this past weekend. Labeled graphic since I know I have at least one mutual who doesn't like spiders.
A close up of a beige and brown colored spider with a large abdomen at rest on its web at night. It has many short, rigid-looking hairs sprouted all around its body, including its legs. Its four four legs are fairly thick and have a red-brown hue in the first segment. I believe it's some kind of orb weaver. The same spider slightly less zoomed in. A green lawn can be seen in the background through the web here. The poor spider appears to be missing most its rear-most left leg only having about half of the first segment of it left.

The cover of the comic, "TMNT: Best Of Old Hob." The title is shown in blocky, yellow text at the top of the page with a lime green background for the whole cover. Old Hob, a brownish furred cat with yellow eyes who has been mutated to have human proportions, is shown facing forward on the cover in mostly flat colors. He's wearing a dark brown duster, a light brown shirt, and an eyepatch the same color as the background. He has a slight malicious smile.

New starter's final form looks cool.
A serial numbered Universus card of Michelangelo from TMNT. It has a silvery, grayscale color scheme other than Mikey's wristbands, elbow pads, knee pads, and mask which are all orange. Mikey is smiling widely while in a leaping pose with his right arm reared back, about to strike with his nunchaku. It is sleeved on a yellow stand that says "POKEMON" in black text on the base.

He's also got a katana and bo staff visible over his shoulders attached to his back.

Shredder in his slut era.
An issue of Shredder issue 8, cover B, from 2026 in a green cardboard stand. It shows Oroku Saki, a Japanese man with light tan skin with short, gray hair and a full beard who appears to be in late middle age. He's in profile, mid forward charge with his metal claws brandished and gleaming. He is wearing a black suit that has had most of the shirt and jacket torn to ribbons, exposing his bare, muscular chest. He's just torn through a mass of multicolored electrical cords that sort of look organic and as if they are reaching toward him. He's against a scarlet background with a pattern of intermittently broken concentric rings making a halo around his head. The series title, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder is emblazoned in white text on the top of the cover. Creator credits are for Dan Duncan, Sid Kotian, and Marco Lesko.

Wonder if people got refunded if the subbed to Sonic Boom considering it only got 11 issues.
An ad page from Sonic Boom issue 1 showing Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Sticks viewed from above, and they're looking up at the viewer with sassy expressions, each having would I would describe as a shit eating grin. The page advertises a monthly subscription to the Sonic Boom comic with a mail in slip at the bottom of the page offering a 12 issue sub for $27.99 USD and a 24 issue sub for $47.99 USD. Presumably most folks would have just subbed online back when this was published though.

Big Direct leak: CD-i Zelda remakes with live action footage. Pictured: Chen Jianbin as Ganon.
A screenshot from Three Kingdoms (2010 series) showing the actor Chen Jianbin in late Han Dynasty period dress as the warlord Cao Cao. He's seen from the chest up. He is wearing an iron breast plate and red robes, and he has a big beard and mustache, but the beard has a weird squared off shape at the bottom because he cut off part of it to try to disguise himself. He is wearing some type of Guan crown with a pin through it on his head that keeps his hair tidy. His lips are pursed and he is speaking: "If the Ma boy doesn't die, I will not have peaceful days."

This of course references the famous, "Mah Boi" line uttered by King Harkinian in Link: The Faces of Evil.

Grabbed this for a few bucks from a back issue box because I was kinda shocked to see Power Girl in a DCAU JLU comic. I kinda assumed Galatea was meant to be the PG of that continuity. They don't get into her deal in this comic nor does she use Kryptonian specific powers, so maybe she's human.
A bagged copy of the DC animated universe Justice League Unlimited comic, issue 16 from around Christmas 2005 I want to say. The cover shows Supergirl, Power Girl, Atom Smasher, Firestorm, and Hawkgirl. They're all wearing Santa hats and Supergirl is smiling with two hands holding a big green sack slung over her right shoulder, presumably filled with xmas presents. Supergirl is wearing her usual DCAU costume, a white t-shirt with the Superman symbol on it and a short, red cape attached with the shirt cut off to show midriff as well as a short, blue skirt. Power Girl is in her typical white leotard style costume (boob window included of course) with the white cape slung over one shoulder and big, blue gloves. Power Girl is smiling while looking off to the side. Atom Smasher is mostly occluded by the two aforementioned heroines, but his dark navy colored mask that fully covers his head is visible, and I get the impression he's less enthused because of his severe looking squinted eyes. Firestorm's head can be seen, in his usual read mask the opens up to show his face along with yellow goggles. He's got a surprised expression as his flaming "hair" burns his Santa hat away. Hawkgirl is in her old costume, the yellow bustier top, black, belt, red trunks, green tights, red boots, and the brown mask that stretches to sides like hawk wings. She's standing, wrists to her hips and chest puffed out, and smiling proudly. The stand against a dark blue and moderately snowy sky. The title of the comic in bold blocky, red and green letters reads, "Happy Holidays From Justice League Unlimited." A red and green banner at the top of the cover shows the issue number and msrp, 2.25 usd and 3.00 cad, as well as the declaration, "as seen on Cartoon Network." The DC comics logo is in the upper left, and the comics code stamp is in the upper right. The Johnny DC logo is to the left of the title, something DC did to mark comics for kids at the time

Whoa, Sonic, turn down the sass.
The back cover of a copy of Titans vol. 1, issue 10. It's a full page ad for Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast. The left three quarters of the page is black with text on it, and the other quarter is a vertical strip of screenshots from Sonic Adventure showing a sequence of Sonic charging up a light-speed dash, becoming neon blue in the process, before running into traffic and getting hit by an orange van, rings exploding from Sonic.

The text in the black portion of the page is is neon blue and says, "Sonic has a new > LIGHT SPEED DASH." Lower down on the page the text continues, "Too bad your lame-ass > reflexes are the same." The logo for the Sega Dreamcast, the one with the orange swirl, is positioned below the first block of text with the tagline, "It's Thinking." The name of the game, "Sonic Adventure," is shown in plain white text next to that. The actual Sonic Adventure logo is printed in the lower left of the ad, big blocky text with an orange outline and a cloud fill pattern which says, "SONIC ADVENTURE."
Just above that, some ad copy reads, "Yuji Naka' warp speed 3D adventure through 40 expansive worlds of bonus rounds and minigames where 6 playable characters snowboard, play pinball, fly, and even talk. moving 360° never felt so good. sega.com." the ESRB E for Everyone logo is in the lower right of the ad.

One of my favorite silly things New Teen Titans offhandedly established. Tamaraneans like Starfire are evolved from cat people. Seen here when a villain uses a de-evolution weapon on the Titans.
A panel from New Teen Titans, volume 1, issue 15, showing Robin, Raven, and Starfire covered in bubbly, green goo with yellow fumes coming off of them. Robin and Raven have taken on the jutting brows and coarse facial features associated with neanderthals, looking clueless and confused, while Starfire takes on the nose shape and cleft upper lip of a cat while her red hair turns into a kind of lion's mane shape.

Off panel, the villain, General Immortus, bloviates, "--very soon their neanderthal madness will overwhelm them--and they will crush the metal one for us." The metal one in question being Robotman, formerly of the Doom Patrol.

Geez, this s/he her/his stuff is super awkwardly written. Since you could easily make this plural (Jericho is possessing Starfire,) I feel like this must've been written this way to be like, "whoa imagine being a man in a woman's body fellas."
Three panels arranged vertically from page 17 of Tales Of The Teen Titans issue 47. From top to bottom:

Panel 1: Starfire is shown at a medoum distance flying through a blazing fire in a Superman flying pose, her extremely long hair trailing behind her. The narration reads, "S/he rushes forward, picking up speed, yet as the heat engulfs him/her s/he panics...He may possess Koriand'r's body, but he does not possess her knowledge or experience..."

Panel 2: Still flyong through the flames, Starfire is viewed closer, her body taking up most of the panel now. The narration reads: "His/her heart thumps wildly...The heat is getting worse. His/her flesh sizzles..."

Panel 3: Zoomed in close on Starfire's pained face now, the narration reads: "S/he almost passes out, giving in to the terrible, painful heat and fire...Jericho panics. He almost forsakes Koriand'r's body to the flames. His/her throat burns as s/he gulps for air, his/her eyes shut tight and s/he pushes ahead..."

I forgot Usagi Yojimbo was introduced in Albedo Anthropomorphics, haha.
The cover of Albedo Anthropomorphics issue 2 from 1984. It is a mostly black page with the title of the comic, issue number, volume number (1 in this case,) and the $1.50 price at the top of the page in bold and blocky, white text. The human proportioned, white-furred, rabbit-ronin, Usagi Yojimbo stands viewed from the side, his head turned toward us but his eyes looking somewhere beyond us with a severe expression, seen in the opening left by a partially open, Japanese-style, sliding door. The door is black, with its windows a medium gray that we can see some of Usagi's left arm silhouetted in, and the opening Usagi is standing in is colored bright orange. Usagi is in a light blue kimono with the fictional Mifune crest, three circles in a triangle somewhat resembling a paw print, printed on the left breast and near the left cuff. In a blue sash around his waist, he carries two Japanese style swords, presumably a long sword and a shorter companion sword. Usagi has his left hand on the upper sheathe of the long sword, flicking the sword out of its sheathe with his thumb, clearly expecting trouble. His long rabbit ears are bound in a white strip of fabric, making him look like he has a topknot. In the lower left, at the bottom of the door, white text declares, "Introducing Usagi Yojimbo." The, "Usagi," text is rendered in a calligraphic style as if written using a brush.

Chud Flash
A panel from New Teen Titans Vol. 1 issue 18. It shows Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, and Raven from the waist up standing close together in a room of 80's era-looking super computers. Kid Flash is wearing his yellow, full body, costume with a red lightning bolt on the chest, a face mask thar covers his head other than his nose, mouth, and hair, and red wing accessories in the ear area of his mask. He has fair skin and short red hair with a wave of hair falling just above his right eye. He looks serious and is looking off to the side with his eyes. Wonder Girl is in a red unitard with a star pattern and has bouncy and voluminous looking black hair that falls to about her shoulders. She has fair skin and wears a pair of star-shaped earrings. She has a neutral expression and is turned toward Kid Flash. Raven is seen in silhouette from the back, only recognizable from the beak-like shape the top of her cloak's hood makes.

Kid Flash is saying, "Maybe because I knew our politics were always different. Look, I don't put you down for being liberals. Why attack me for being a mid-western conservative?"

I'm glib about some of these old 90's-00's era ads sometimes, but honestly, they're way more interesting than most of what we get today.
A print ad for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask in a comic book. It shows a giant, red moon that takes up the upper 65% of the page hanging just above a modern city with many skyscrapers and a somewhat parabolic skyline. The moon has a lot of gnarly looking craters and scoring. The sky is tinted light red with dark blue clouds hanging low in the sky.

Small print between the moon and the tallest buildings reads: "The Only Thing Worse Than The Weight Of The World On Your Shoulders Is The Weight Of The Moon." Below the city, on the ground, white text reads: "72 Hours. 24 Masks. 1 Moon. The World Is Waiting On You." The Majora's Mask logo and four screenshots of the game are linrf up horizontally along the bottom of the page, including a scary looking image of link part way through his Zora transformation, eyes blacked out and mouth howling in pain. At the top of the ad is E for everyone ESRB rating, copyright info from 2000 and a plug for www.zelda.com.

Peaked at the personal growth rates in FE Engage, and I knew there was something screwy with Boucheron's strength and Clanne's Magic.
A partial screenshot of a table showing personal percentile growth rates for Fire Emblem Engage characters. It shows the following:

Alear has a 60% HP growth, 35% strength growth, and a 20% magic growth.
Vander has a 60% HP growth, 25% strength growth, and a 10% magic growth.
Clanne has a 40% HP growth, 35% strength growth, and a 10% magic growth.
Framme has a 55% HP growth, 30% strength growth, and a 25% magic growth.
Alfred has a 65% HP growth, 40% strength growth, and a 5% magic growth.
Etie has a 45% HP growth, 40% strength growth, and a 0% magic growth.
Boucheron has a 85% HP growth, 20% strength growth, and a 0% magic growth.

Clanne's magic growth is weirdly low considering he starts as a mage and has a starting strength of 1.
Boucheron's strength growth being 20% means that his good starting strength becomes less impressive as the game progresses since he gets a lot fewer boosts than would be expected for a normally strength focused class.

Now that we're getting a Godzilla X Sonic comic, I think it's time to bring this freak back.
A full page illustration from Sonic Super Special #12. It shows a mutated Bunnie Rabbot, grown to giant size, smashing through a futuristic, human populated, city with a furious expression as she regards the fleeing people beneath her while casually pushing skyscrapers to her sides away with clawed hands. Bunnie is a yellow furred, anthropomorphic, rabbit with long, floppy ears, a fluffy tuft of hair on the top of her head that ends in a spit curl, covering her forehead, and dark purple eyeshadow on both eyelids. Being a cyborg, she has a chrome, robotic left arm that ends in a large cylindrical cuff with a clawed hand coming out of it, and a robotic lower torso and legs, withmuscular looking calves and feet that end in curved, sharp claws. Different from usual, her open mouth shows too many teeth sharpened down to points, glowing red irises inside her green eyes, and gnarled fingers that end in sharp claws. She also has a long, thick tail with spines on the back of it meant to invoke Godzilla's image. Dust plumes above her and text at the top of the page reads, "Zone Wars: Giant Robotno Chapter 2. It's just like playing May in regular Guilty Gear. Or so I've heard.
Four copies of the Guilty Gear Strive Universus card, "Mr. Dolphin." It shows May in her usual big orange pirate hat and orange hoodie summoning a cartoony, azure dolphin with pink blush circles on its cheeks. This is happening with her big red air ship in the background.

Below the art in an orange textbox, the card effect reads, "Blitz: This attack gets +1 damage for each Ally attack in your card pool." Mr. Dolphin is an Ally attack itself, so the implication is you're meant to play multiple copies of this card consecutively to power up the next one similarly to how some Strive players spam Tostugeki in the fighting game. Fittingly, the quote at the bottom of the description is:

"Totsugeki!"

I don't know sign language, but supposedly Joey is saying he's gay here with the double chin tap gesture.
A page from Convergence: Teen Titans showing Jericho, a pale skinned man with reddish-blonde hair and mutton chops, and Kole, a pale skinned woman with short red hair and a diamond shaped stone in the center of her forehead, standing in fron of an easel with a painting on it in a large room. Jericho is wearing his usual costume, a roomy long sleeved white shirt with a deepy purple tunic on top of it with tight blue pants, purple boots with gold cuffs, and a blue sash around his shoulders with a pair of gold fasteners near both shoulders. Kole is wearing a short blue dress that ends high up on her thighs, and a short translucent blue cape that's fastened to her by a wide, scaled, azure collar that extends to her shoulders, and gold and black high heeled boots that go nearly to her knees.

Panel 1: Jericho and Kole touch the painting and luminous, crystalline tree sprouts from the canvas, extending beyond the bounds of the canvas itself.

Panel 2: Jericho, with downcast eyes and an uncertain expression, touches his right pointer finger and thumb to his chin, making a U shape.

Panel 3: Kole turns to Jericho and says, "I know...I always should have...And I know how hard it was for you. Your parents...who they are...Both warriors. Fighters. Your brother too."

Panel 4: Kole embraces Jericho around his waist. Jericho's arms are still at his sides as if he was not expecting the hug. Kole continues, "And you...you're an artist. And you're so good. Maybe they couldn't understand what they were putting you through. But I do."

Panel 5: Jericho hugs Kole back, a tear rolling down his cheek as he smiles, and Kole leans her head into his chest, beaming. Kole says, "And I still love you...And you never have to hide from me."

Panel 6: The pair are viewed from the opposite angle now, showing a purple couch and a guitar leaning against the wall. The other Titans are seen through a doorway. Kole says, "Or them."

After years of drawing roughly the way Kane might have drawn the comics himself since 1953, Moldoff felt lost. It was like "Draw it like Bob Kane but if Bob was drawing in a style he never drew in" and Moldoff hated the job. For one thing, it took longer to pencil a page that way but no raise in pay accompanied the new marching orders. For another, Schwartz asked for way more redraws than Schiff had ever demanded on the "old look" pages. He asked Kane and then Shelly had to do them…with at least one famous exception which Julie Schwartz described once on a panel I hosted at Comic-Con…

One time when Bob Kane dropped off pages, I asked him for a quick revision on one panel. Batman was punching someone and I wanted it to be a Marvel-style punch with a big fist coming right out at the reader. Bob said, "Okay, I'll take the page home and fix it and get it back to you tomorrow." By now, I knew he was going to have some assistant redo it so I decided to have a little fun with him. I said, "No, I need to send this story off to the letterer right away. Just sit down at a drawing table down the hall and redo the panel. He was turning pale. He said, "No, I need my own drawing table and my own art supplies to work." I said, "Come on. It's just one fist. The great Bob Kane should be able to knock that out in two minutes."

I kept after him until he finally agreed to do it. He took the page and went off down the hall to where there were some drawing tables for artists to work at. It took a half-hour or so but he finally came back with the page and the fist was perfect. He did a real good job. I was impressed until later, I found out what happened. He sat there for twenty minutes, erasing and redrawing, erasing and redrawing. Finally, he paid Murphy Anderson ten bucks to redraw it for him.

I always think of the Nichijou parody, "NO NO" whenever I see those MONO erasers, haha.
A screenshot from the Nichijou anime showing a view from over Yuuko's left shoulder. Yuuko has light brown hair that goes to about the bottom of her neck, fair skin, and she's wearing a pale yellow, sailor style school uniform with a white color and a pink bow. She's at her school desk with an English test in front of her. She's looking at a, "NO NO" branded eraser in her hand that she was just loaned by her friend Mio. She already has her own "NO NO" eraser on her desk.

Wow, they're just now getting around to putting Garcia in FE Heroes? Been years since I played regularly, but I would've figured they'd have had to have made everyone from the mainline games playable at this point. Art looks really good though. Kinda shocked Dozla got a unit before him.
New art of Garcia from Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones for Fire Emblem Heroes. He's in his standard outfit, consisting of a dark blue, leather chest plate with shoulder straps to keep it on, olive green and dark green two tone pants, light brown combat boots with dark brown soles, a reddish brown belt around his waist as well as another belt connected to that one that supports a leather pouch at his side, and a red sash tied around his hips with the knot and two flowing loose bits of fabric on his left side.

Garcia himself is very muscular and lean with a broad face, large nose, small and dark eyes, a wide smile, thick eyebrows, a beard that follows the curve of his jaw and ends in a small point at his chin, and charcoal colored hair, trimmed short a neatly combed back while still looking like it has some volume. Two stray locks of hair hang down over his forehead, just above his eyes.

He's standing straight with his legs slightly apart and his lead foot turned toward the viewer in a stance that seems to communicate he's ready for action. His right hand is balled into a fist and held against his waist, and his left arm is bent downward slightly with his first pointed mostly at the viewer. He's viewed at a 3/4 angle with only his left ear visible from this angle while still being able to see the rest of his face.

Unfortunately, the artist for this piece is not yet publicly known to the best of my knowledge, but they are usually credited in Fire Emblem Heroes itself.

Reading New Teen Titans issue 2, and I never considered that, "humans only use 10% of their brain," myth might come up in something from the '80s. Always kind of assumed it started when I was growing up. Would be really funny if this was just some cape comics thing that got spread around as real.
Two panels from New Teen Titans volume 1, issue 2.

In the first panel, Grant Wilson, a pale skinned, muscular, blond man with chin length hair lies on an operating table while in an orange shirt. A person in a blue hazmat suit is lecturing him, "Then we shall do so once again! Human beings only use 1/10th of their brain power capacity. We have learned that the Terminator increased his capacity to 90%!"

The second panel shows a close up of the hazmat suit's mask while the wearer continues, "We are going to increase your capacity to 100% Just imagine the power at your disposal when you are finally ready to destroy the New Titans!"

Hurray!
A screenshot of the above gif on a frame of three young women viewed from the waist up, Manami on the left, Erika on the right, and Haru in the middle, with a long, white text box with a black outline with the Japanese text, "大吉," above the English text, "GREAT LUCK." It's all against a light green background with three white, bow-shaped designs hovering above each of the women.

Manami has pale skin, charcoal colored hair styled in a short bob, and she's wearing a mauve colored hoodie with two black strings hanging from the neck, and a gray hood hanging at her shoulders. Manami is smiling warmly with closed eyes.

Erika has tan skin, short blonde hair with a side-part, and she's wearing a single, triangular, purple earring that dangles from her right ear. She's also wearing a black jacket with a splash of hot pink color on the jacket's right shoulder and a splash of dark blue on the left shoulder. Erika is smiling brightly with her head slightly cocked to the left, and she's waving at the viewer with her right hand.

Haru has fair skin, mid-back length medium-brown hair, and she's wearing a powder blue dress with a light pink throw over jacket as well as a light blue teardrop-shaped necklace. Haru is smiling slightly and blushing with her hands behind her back.

You are what you eat as they say, haha.
A screenshot of Emblem Ike from Fire Emblem Engage floating in the main Somniel square. A clear, blue sky with only a few clouds is in the background, and just behind Ike can be seen the tailor's store front with its blue-shingled roof, and behind that is a swimming pool with pool chairs and end tables beneath a blue rood held up by white columns.

Ike is in his Radiant Dawn Costume with a dark green bandana around his forehead, a read cape clasped around his right shoulder, a jagged blue and yellow pauldron on his left shoulder, a brown and blue sleeveless shirt, and a leathery brown shoulder pad on his left shoulder of the kind archers tend to wear. A ghostly light blue aura surrounds him.

Ike is saying in response to Lapis asking if he's ever had bear meat, "Yeah! Bear meat tastes great! We were hired to hunt them often, so I used to eat a lot of it."

It definitely feels like someone on the dev team wanted to put a trans character into the game. Presumably "transitioning" to a flier class, having a pretty non-gender conforming style, and nearly having a trans flag as his color scheme implies a lot the game never gets into.
A screenshot of Rosado from Fire Emblem Engage from the hips up. Rosado is thin, wears a tight, black top with a diamond shaped opening just below the neck as well as silver plates of armor on his arms and hips, and he has thigh-length, light blue hair with pink streaks through it that end in ringlets. He also sports a pair of hair buns on the top of his head, swirled through with blue and pink, that are shaped like little horns as well as a big pink bow and the back of his head. He has blue eyes with pink highlights, thin eyebrows and overall soft facial features with pale skin. He's smiling cutely with his hands clasped together by his face like he just saw something adorable.

Imagining her getting her own mini-series like Clobberin' Time now, haha.
The cover of Clobberin' Time issue 2, variant cover by Leonardo Romero. It shows Ben Grimm, The Thing of the Fantastic Four, with his giant, stony, fist thrust toward the viewer and rocky debris flying all over as if he just punched through a wall separating the two of you. He's glowering while a speech balloon comes from his head reading, "Clobberin' Time."

Cool sketch cover mini prints I bought from a local artist, Brian Lacy. Always love when the 2003 TT Raven design makes an appearancein comics, and baby Leo with dad Splinter is too cute. Check him out if you're on Instagram: www.instagram.com/brianlacyart/
Two mini prints in small frames of sketch comic covers by Brian Lacy. The leftmost is a sketch of the pale skinned and dark, shoulder length haired, Raven, in her black leotard and dark blue cape as seen in the 2003 teen titans cartoon, complete with a belt of circular, gold links with smooth red gems in the center and a matching gold and red latch at her collarbone that keeps her cape attached. She has a characteristic calm expression while thrusting her left hand toward the viewer as if casting a spell with her right hand balled into a fist at her side. She's wearing dark blue lipstick, dark cateye eyeliner, and a diamond shaped red stone graces the center of her forehead. The pink Titans logo is behind her, being a sketch cover of the issue 1 of the most recent series by Taylor, Scott, and Kwok.

The rightmost print is of a baby Leonardo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in his typical green skinned, yellow tummied, and blue masked look holding a tiny katana at his side. He is smiling joyfully while the much larger brown furred hand of his father, Splinter, holds him by the stomach, keeping Leo balanced on the crook of his elbow. Only Splinter's arm is visible, but he's wearing a red robe and has long black nails being a rat man. It's a sketch cover for the most recent TMNT issue 1 by Jason Aaron, Joelle Jones, and Ronda Pattison.

I don't get this gag. How is Captain Kintsugi any harder than, say, Captain America to pronounce. If it's just to show the kid's awkward growing into superhero-dom, it's and odd way to do it.
A panel from an Amazing Spider-Man comic where Spidey is handing a round, silver and gold shield back to a costumed, teenage hero in a silver and gold padded jumpsuit, a silver headband, orange visor-style glasses, and black shoulder length hair. The silver and gold clad kid looks dejected and is saying to Spidey, "Kintsugi, sir. It was Captain Kintsugi the first time we met, but people kept stumbling over it so... Still a work in progress."

Rad alt art April I got.
A holographic universus card of April O'Neil from the TMNT Mutant Mayhem movie. In the art, she's leaning forward and flashing a peace sign while winking and smiling. She's in her outfit from the movie consisting of a black shirt and pants, a yellow jacket with white trim, a black beanie, and big glasses with rounded bottoms and flat tops. She has medium brown skin, red locs peaking from beneath her beanie, and a cute gap between her two front teeth. She's rendered in a somewhat impressionistic, painterly style, with large blocks of color of different shades right next to each other without being smoothly blended.

Edit of a Nichijou episode where Mio's sister dresses up in her school uniform and a bear mask and accosts her by asking if she dropped a gold wooden fish. The image is poorly edited so that a shiny sandile is superimposed over the wooden fish and the subtitle, "wooden fish," is poorly overlayed with the text, "ground croc."

Knowing that Emboar is based on Zhang Fei's crazy ass in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel, it makes a lot of sense that Pignite would just be a little freak, haha.
A screenshot of Zhang Fei from the 1994 Three Kingdoms TV series. He's in scale armor astride a horse and wearing a head scarf to keep his hair tidy. He's also got his signature big beard. He's holding his spear high and declaring, "I am right here! Who dares come and fight me to the death!"
