Hasan is principled in his beliefs generally. He’s had controversy but is a lot less controversial than someone like Vaush for instance. Honestly I’ve found in the current climate, when we have someone like Hasan who generally is good at what he does we can’t be picky due to a few bad takes.

Blue states are currently effectively autonomous vassals of the federal government currently. Red states have and will give up their autonomy to the feds when asked. Blue states will be pressured either politically or through force to give that up too.

We can’t treat this like the law matters anymore to those in charge because it doesn’t. Given the chance the Supreme Court will rule the constitution unconstitutional if it furthers their goals. The constitution only matters as something to point to, to justify their actions

There are fundamental issues in nearly everything Starfield does. Starfield tried to do something and it at least for me it completely missed every mark. This doesn’t mean we should hate Todd or Emil, but we should ask them to critically look at the work their team did and improve.
