Separately, we also looked at the booming seaweed industry in Ireland, with just four companies having submitted 12 applications to harvest seaweed. Almost 51,000 wet tonnes of seaweed a year would be harvested if the applications are approved by MARA. Read on thejournal.ie from 7:30 am tomorrow.

🆕 Local fire authorities have served 150 fire safety notices on buildings in the last 5 years. Our investigation found that among these notices were several IPAS accommodation premises. We also found one Cork City pub had a 40-year-old fire safety notice that wasn't complied with. jrnl.ie/7026798
