FAUN - Wisptober Day 12 Grandma got ran over by a reindeer… #inktober #wisptober #faun #cryptid #inkdrawing

A tall, lanky creature - mostly obscured in darkness - is partially revealed with a car’s headlights while crossed a dirt road. It has a deer’s legs and feet, but long human-like hands. Its chest and head are fully lost in shadow, with a faint glimmer in its piercing white eyes. Tall gnarled antlers protrude from the top of his skull, subtly visible in the pale moonlight.

Palette Girls numba 1 These are some older drawings where I used some premade color palettes and used them to create fun and varied characters I love going back to these pics and wouldn’t mind doing more at some point (or redoing them?🤷‍♂️)

A solemn girl with low bangs looks at you from the corners of her eyes. She’s wearing a zip up hoodie and a skirt. The colors include a mossy turquoise and deep purple with calming blueish greys

A skateboarder takes a break to drink some soda. The colors are bright and vibrant - consisting of neon pinks, blues, and purples.

An Egyptian goddess awaits your plea. She’s leaning back on her pillowy throne and staring at you with regality. The colors are earthy and bold with light brown and yellow-greens

A girl strolls nonchalantly. She’s wearing a sporty outfit and a backwards baseball cap. The colors are fun and cheerful consisting of light pinks and blues

I sketched this to help get me out of an art slump during the summer before my senior year of high school. Taking my time and enjoying the process helped me slow down and really think about what I was doing and why I was doing it. Even though I’ve gotten way better, I still really love this piece

A sketch I made in high school of a woman with her eyes closed. The wind is blowing through her hair and she looks peaceful. Her heart is calm and she’s breathing out slowly - appreciating life.

A graphite illustration of a man trapped in thorns bowing his head - his eyes obscured in shadows. Above him is an angel with a glowing and flaming sword - her eyes covered in brilliant holy light.

I did some anatomy studies the other day and used that to make a really cool Spidey! Felt good to practice “from life” sketches like college again

Sketchbook illustration of spiderman swinging on his web. His knee is up in front of him and his arm is extended to shoot a new web.

Drawing of a massive skeleton grafted into the side of a mountain. Other sketches include a man laying flat on his back and a woman leaning over the arm of a chair.

Some more from life sketches. These include nude illustrations of men and women in various poses.

More from life sketches of nude men and women. One of them has a tv on their head.

A few months ago, I started to redesign the Kanto Pokédex. Here’s the original redesign I came up with for Bulbasaur: Pebblesaur! (I’m thinking I’ll redesign my redesigns to look a little more like my own thing soon, but for now, here’s the original redesigns!)

A redesign of Bulbasaur from Pokémon. It’s a green quadruped animal with large magenta eyes and a big single toothed grin. It has small pointy ears and dark green spots dotted around its body. On its back, there’s a small rock being held in place by the vines protruding from its body. Its name is Pebblesaur and it’s a Grass/Rock type.

This is the stats page for Pebblesaur. It shows that Pebblesaur is about knee height and has pretty low statistics in everything except Defense and Special Defense. Its Speed is very low. There’s a rare colored variant of Pebblesaur that looks like burnt orange with red eyes. The description of the Pokémon reads: When a Pebblesaur is born, they seek out the perfect rock to accompany them the rest of their lives. These rocks eventually merge with the Pokémon’s body, increasing its defense.

This shows the evolutionary line for Pebblesaur. The next two stages of its evolution are a mystery for now.
