To any who follow me, I'm now Former Oiler Fan. This hiring of Babcock was the final straw for me as an Oiler fan. Daryl Katz has ruined it all for me. Bowman, Kane, too many other things that just go against my morals. Starting next season I'm a Habs fan. Uggh.

Funny how everything he describes can apply to the Alberta government. All of those things are a problem in all of Alberta not just First Nations. The difference being those problems were forced onto First Nations. The government has caused those same problems right across the province.

I really wanted to try out that Silver Sky. I saw a video of him playing my Soloist but with the three single coils. I think it was a custom guitar. I want his sound but I want it to come out of my guitar lol.

Not so much neck shake but the thickness of it. It feels fat in my hands in comparison. Granted even a Les Paul feels that way too. That was the biggest thing that got me to go with the Jackson. It felt the best in my hands.

I really love the way my Jackson feels and plays but I regret not getting one with single coil pickups. My Seymour Duncan distortion pickups aren't really ideal for playing that style. I'm just discovering that is how I want to learn to play. Lofty goal I know but he's so damn good.

Yes, I popped in to Long and McQuade to try out a Silver Sky, I saw it there a while back. Sadly it wasn't there anymore. I never liked the feel of Fenders though so I don't know if I'd like it.

I'm with you Dan, it feels like being in an abusive relationship. I'm probably done. I got over Kane, and Perry. I am still pissed about Bowman. This is fitting for an owner that allegedly did some bad stuff with young girls in California. I love this team but I just can't anymore. Go Habs I guess?

How is it possible to both love and loath a team. The management/owner constantly disappoint me and I want to give up being an Oilers fan, but once they are playing I can't not root for them. It's like being in a really toxic relationship. FFS.

We moved to Newfoundland this past summer and I've learned what it's actually like to get things for your taxes. My property tax is a fraction of what it was in Edmonton and they do things like plow the damn snow. Our garbage gets picked up every week not 2 weeks and water is included with prop tax.
