I hope this happens soon. I'm not able to play the new update on my steam deck because the Controlify mod hasn't been updated yet. Native controller support for Java would be HUGE

@jebox.bsky.social Another really neat thing would be to have the ability to move/raise the hotbar, like, having it just above the bottom of the screen like in Legacy console edtion

I'd say a big one would be verticality. Water and rivers being higher/lower than the universal sea level

I know you can't comment on updates, but is there any, even slim chance of Java getting native controller support? Would be really good for accessibility + analogue movement is neat

This kinda worries me. You removed exclusive fullscreen, and my Minecraft doesn't run smooth unless in fullscreen. This snapshot has essentially ruined my framerate and introduced constant micro-stuttering

So idk wtf Mojang done, or how they did it, but Java Minecraft now can handle 32 chunks with performance just as smooth as Bedrock Edition #Minecraft THANK YOU!!!🧡

Hiya, Slice! Do you know by any chance if we'll get LOD like in bedrock? (Grass, other block entities etc not rendering until you're closer) in Java?

People really took MCC's resurgence in 2020-2023 for granted. Man, I felt like I was a kid again. Coming home from School/Work and just playing Halo again. I didn't know it was possible to bring back the feeling of those memories. It was beautiful.

Until the Moon Bleeds, comes out on December 14th. This one’s been a long time in the making. Think The Wizard of Oz meets Evil Dead—a dark fantasy that’s brutal and heartbreaking. It’s about guilt and the weight it carries, about trying to move forward when the past won’t let you go. #bookstagram
