We had a great turnout for our Church Cookbooks Collections Tour! 🍲📚 Meaghan Wright shared stories behind our cookbook collection, visitors explored original materials, and our historical potluck brought the recipes to life. Programs are free thanks to the Beacon Hill Civic Association.

The CLA mourns the passing of Rev. Barbara Brown Zikmund, the pre‑eminent historian of the Congregational Christian tradition and the UCC @unitedchurch.bsky.social. Known as BBZ, she served on the CLA Board from 2009–2017 and advanced key historical projects. She will be greatly missed.

We’re pleased to have acquired this volume written by Sheldon Dibble, an ABCFM missionary to Hawai’i. The manuscript, titled “Didactic Theology,” contains 413 theological questions followed by answers. It was neither published nor completed.
