I kind of wish we weren't all so connected all the time online. That scheduling when to chat, as if it was for a real life visit, was a normal thing people did by default. Maybe that would level the playing field. I don't know. Does anyone have advice, about any of this?

interacting with anyone *but* me. Same with groups. If the same people are getting together often, I can't call myself a "regular" with them unless I'm there most of the time. Hard to reassure myself that I matter to people when I feel I only have the relative capacity to be a C or D tier friend.

I think one of the reasons I sometimes feel so disconnected/lonely/left out is, I have a hard time matching people's energy in public spaces. I see the more sociable people talking all the time with people who are similarly outgoing. Hard to feel like I'm "in" with someone who's overwhelmingly-
