iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Well too bad, I still do it at home and I am definitely not a professional of it! What could possibly go wrong?

Conductor Night @conductornight.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

It’s quite wild that an advertisement about not stealing digital things… literally do it by stealing a font. It’s like saying "Don’t drink soda, it’s bad for you!" while drinking one.

Oh yeah totally, two completely different reasons of why they do that and how they do it! Just finding the idea that both art style having one very recognisable thing being the big head is pretty funny.

I can’t say I know exactly why they are counted as the best streaming site, but I would guess that the popularity of the platform as being THE site for streaming, which means lot of potential spectator, is definitely one of the reasons. And I guess the tools the platform has are pretty nice too.

Just set up a pic and names for my channel points. Although, can I say how weird it is that twitch ask specifically for 28x28 pics? Like, not 32x32, not even 30x30, just specifically 28x28. There’s probably a reason, but I don’t know it that’s for sure.

Launched Oblivion Remastered to check if my computer can run it smoothly before a potential live on the game and I see this. Ah yes, Audio Mode: Me

In any case, I’m mostly wondering how this game will be seen by the fans. A great remaster of Oblivion? Or another buggy mess of Bethesda? …Or both, actually I bet on both.

Conductor Night @conductornight.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

I wanted to play Skyrim for a while since I never ever played a Elder Scrolls in my entire life. And now I see this just being dropped… …So should I play Skyrim or Oblivion remastered first???

Just received a book on the art of game design, written by Jesse Schell. 617 pages without counting bibliography, and it’s a big book, not written in big letters. Definitely important to read… but it’s gonna take me a whole month to read and understand all of that.

Oh alright, yeah wouldn’t call that immersive, more « immersive-narative » or something about how much the fantasy world building is put in front? Can’t really say, never played those games, only watched parts of them

110

Conductor Night @conductornight.bsky.social · 08/03/2025

Immersive-sim? Never heard that one. Would have guessed it’s games that whole point of it is to be as immersive as possible, like, yeah, the Sims series or a lot of car games, or even the game like « Truck simulator », « Farm Simulator », etc…

110

Conductor Night @conductornight.bsky.social · 08/03/2025

Exactly! "Look like gta" so it has to be in a city? Or you just mean open world? Or the use of gun? Or the star system? Like, which mechanics define it? Roguelike had the same trouble, people couldn’t say what mechanics of Rogue other roguelike were supposed to have to count as one.

110

Conductor Night @conductornight.bsky.social · 08/03/2025

Not a fan of genre named "NameOfAGame-like" because it easily cause confusion (like the infamous roguelike and roguelite). So I would join you on that point!

I'm impressed to see a lot of games coming out using lethal company as a clear inspiration, things like "Content Warning", "R.E.P.O.", etc... At this point Lethal Company managed to create a new genre of game, the horror equivalent of Binding of Isaac But for a name... "Horror Company" maybe? Idk

Friend made me remember something I posted on the bird app, so I wanted to post it here because… why not! If you couldn’t be your current fursona species, what would you be? 1) Fox 🦊 2) Cat 🐱 3) Bee 🐝 4) Moth 🌙 5) Bat 🦇 6) Rabbit 🐰 7) Dragon 🐉 (It’s not proposition, it’s a list)

Just saw the trailer of « Secret of the Mimic » and I’m just wondering… this game was presented as a VR game last time I heard about it, so… Why all movements in the trailer look like it’s not? Would that mean Steelwool release the game directly in VR and non-VR? Or I missed something?

I love way too much indie games that create very interesting unique mechanics with lots of replayability! Like, I’ve been playing a lil indie game called "Backpack Hero" which has a whole system of inventory and connection inside it to make the most damage possible! It’s just so amazingly made! 🧡✨

As promised, here is a schedule for this week’s streams! On Tuesday, I’ll be playing the dinosaur flavoured cozy game Amber Isle! I already played the beginning of it but we will start anew. And on Saturday, I will be discovering the Mass Effect series with the Legendary edition!

PS: the gimmick is not clearly stated in the trailer, but leaks showed that as a possibility AND the trailer show the joycons sliding against the ground, which would be, in my opinion, weird if it’s not because of that possibility.

Conductor Night @conductornight.bsky.social · 16/01/2025

So #Nintendo just announced the #Switch2 with the gimmick of it being… joycon being used as computer mouse! As much as I like the idea, how does it work when you don’t have a table in front or next to you? You use it on your legs? Chairs? On the ground? I guess we’ll get more info on April 2!
