The Ocarina of Time remake looks like it has the most corporate, sterile, focus-tested art outside of A.I. slop that I've seen in a long time. It might turn out to be good, or even great, but Nintendo absolutely did not try to differentiate it from all the other trash currently flooding the market.

I think the GameCube might be the greatest console ever made. I don't know if that's a common sentiment or not, I just remember it so fondly. Even playing it today is great. So many unique games, such a cool system menu, everything was so positive and stylish and hopeful.

I will be forever enraged at EA for ruining Star Wars Battlefront. The game itself is great, but the fact that all but like two game types are unplayable offline, which means entire maps are unusable, locks you out of content (Jabba contracts that are impossible to finish), it's all so depressing.

With Sony's announcement that physical game manufacturing will end in 2028 and PS3/Vita digital stores will close starting this year, I'm no longer supporting modern videogames. Everything I buy will be used, and I guess my journey stops at this generation of consoles.

Like two dark sand dunes coming together. A vertically rectangular obelisk is in the middle of the image, around a small circle with a diamond inside of it, and another smaller circle inside of that.
