I'm a big spender at the Apple Store. I spent a whole 9 dollarbucks.

🙏Pray for me… Normally I would wait months before installing a major update, but my Sequoia Mail client is constantly crashing, even on a clean install. I spent several hours on the phone with Apple today and we're down to this solution: just install Golden Gate.

macOS Software Update panel. It says: Preparing macOS 27.0.1, about 5 minutes remaining, installed, macOS Sequoia 15.7.2.

Four images from Sonic Live in Concert at Dolby Theater in Hollywood. First image shows Krazy Ken and Frack standing in front of the stage with Sonic graphics on the large projector screen. There's also multiple instruments. Second image shows Jun Senoue from Crush40 playing guitar with Sonic Adventure 2 graphics projected behind him. Third image shows multiple musicians on stage with red and purple lights and a large projection of Shadow the Hedgehog (from Dark Beginnings) behind them. The final image shows all the musicians on stage ready to take a bow.

Ahh, old-school Apple boxes with lifestyle photos. ❤️

An old Apple iBook box (I think around 2001-ish?) featuring a close-up photo of a person wearing a denim jacket holding the white laptop. On the flap above the photo there's old Apple icons for iMovie, iTunes, iTools, and AirPort.

Thanks to everyone who tweeted/Bluesky'd with me while I watched Murder Drones! As a treat, here's Ribbit and Uzi on a date. 💚💜

Two plush toys on a table positioned near a strawberry ice cream sundae with two pocky sticks pointing out. Each stick looks like it's going into the character's mouth. On the left is Ribbit (a green anthropomorphic frog with a red bow tie from the Glitch animated show The Amazing Digital Circus) and on the right is Uzi (a purple and gray robot girl from the Glitch animated show Murder Drones).

Big shout-out to the Retro Tech Foundation for taking this photo at Vintage Computer Festival Midwest 21!

Two photos: on top is the original photo of a young Steve Jobs in the garage sitting at a workbench. The bottom photo is a recreation of that scene with Krazy Ken instead of Steve. Top photo text says: Steve Jobs with Apple-1 circa 1976. Bottom text says: Ken with Apple-1 circa 2026.

Man, I will never be as cool as Uzi. 😩 I'll never be a 1337 h4x0r.

Uzi (a gray robot with purple eyes and hair from the animated show Murder Drones) sits in a swivel chair in front of a computer in a dark room. She's tapping her fingers together while making sinister facial expression, as if she were scheming.

Googlebooks are now available for pre-order! The Acer model starts at $899. To reiterate what I said in my "Chromebook Pixel" episode, I still don't see the value prop. They costs more than a typical Chromebook and they runs mostly web and Android apps. We'll see. 🤷

5 different Googlebooks from different OEMs. Text says: Meet the lineup.

🤫Shhh, she's giving a PowerPoint presentation. Let's be respectful.

A plush toy of Uzi (a gray robot with purple hair and eyes from the animated series Murder Drones) is sitting on top of a Mac Studio in a dimly-lit blue room. Next to her is a large monitor displaying a white background and default text that says: click to add title, click to add subtitle.
